It's not a five star hotel like the Four Seasons in the next beach (Petit Anse) but it is definitively a very charming hotel standing a few meters from the water...
The manager, Monique was very welcoming and just nice, great service and is not the "pushy to buy" type of person; she's like the place, authentic...
The beach is great (we liked it much more than the next door one, Petit Anse). The high tide does not recover the full beach, so you can enjoy it the whole day.
You can borrow a canoe & paddles and go for a tour.
You can easily swimm or snorkle. It is definitively a class A beach!
The half pension is very nice and the cooking is quite local on the menu.
You can order snacks for lunch if you wish or you can also eat in the restaurant on the beach; all prices are very reasonable in this spot.
We took standard room facing the sea, just great! However, you have to know that you hear the waves, we just loved it but some people think it is noisy (!!???).
It is a very nice place to spend 3 or four days resting, reading books, swimming and enjoying the landscape.

Excellent holiday. We got married here and the hotel staff were fantastic the whole time. Breakfast was plentiful and the evening meals were very good catering for vegetarians. We stayed in room 11 (premier room) and it was fabulous.
A tip - don't hire a car through any other company. The hotel runs Anse Soleil Cars which you can hire for a day or half a day etc. This means that you will not waste money hiring a car for a week when you don't use it.

We stayed at the hotel last month and it was lovely! Such a nice peaceful little place literally less than 10 metres from the sea! The Anse Soleil beach is beautiful!
The staff were nice and friendly especially Monique, the manager who welcomed us with a smile and a welcome juice drink! the hotel entrance is decorated in a pretty blue seaside theme with paintings of fish on the wall and some carved driftwood.
The hotel has 14 rooms (5 standard,5 superior and 4 premier) all with lovely sea views.

We stayed in a superior room for 3 nights. Then in a premier room for 5 nights.
The rooms were simple, spacious and airy, always very clean and they provide you with mini bottles of shampoo, soap etc.
There are tea/coffee facilities in the rooms, fan, airconditioning and a mini fridge with complimentary bottle of water on arrival, which is nice.
Each room has a veranda with a beautiful view, it really was a pleasure waking up every day seeing the sea.
The premier room was our favourite, the architechture is lovely It was huge! and was quite luxurious!

The FOOD was delicious, the dinner menu has lots of local creole dishes as well as more international dishes too. We ate fresh grilled fish and octopus coconut curry which was superb!
Breakfast is nice, and there is a coffee machine available (expresso cappucino or decaf!)

At lunchtime there are light meals and snacks on request. They make a good toasted tuna mayonaise sandwich ! :)

There is a small bar in the dining room with a decent range of alcohol, and they have a plan to maybe start making cocktails at sunset a few times a week, that should be nice!

The beach is white and sandy and never too busy which is nice.
It is very safe for swimming,no sea currents, only a few big waves at a certain time of year, beautiful fish and corals for snorkelling, and the hotel provides masks and snorkels, there is also a kayak for canoeing which we used!

The hotel is a little bit far from the main road but they have their own car hire right there and the prices are good! We rented a car for 4 days.
There are nice places to visit nearby. Restaurants, artists, dive centre, traditional spice garden, other peaceful beaches, souvenirs boutique. All information we asked for at reception which was helpful.

We really enjoyed our holiday and will definitely be back. It was very relaxing and we spent a wonderful time there, almost like a second honeymoon!

Booked to stay in this place based on trip advisor reviews. Stayed a week on half board basis. On arrival about 8 am on a beautiful day, was impressed by the location and welcome from monique who was like a manager of the place. she provided us with breakfast and had to wait about an hour in the lobby which had dirty couches and lots of insects that we both got bitten severely.
Once we got to our premier room, i was very impressed since the room was excellent. The beach is the highlight of the place as mentioned by all the reviewers. Excellent little beach but when tide comes in, the beach area does become little but there was no problems to find a space anytime of the day since it is not crowded at all.
The problems with the place was that its lobby and dining room needs upgrading since they are showing their age and dining table cloths were sometimes dirty and lots of insects including ants which is fine everywhere but not in the dining table.Definitely need some kind of insect repellent such as the one they have in their kitchen.
Also my main complaint was that breakfast option is very very limited. You have a platter of 3 fruits, then choice of egg or cereal or pancake and anything else such as bacon, sausages etc are extra at 1.50 Euros each!!! Also for dinner, you can choose you main course which was by far the best the hotel provides since the main courses were huge and very good BUT you cant choose the starter or dessert since they were chef's choice and on most days, we either left the starter and/or dessert unfinished and trust me i am not a picky eater. I dont think tinned fruits in my opinion can be classed as dessert!!!
It is such a shame that the dining was poor since otherwise this is a fantastic place. The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble particularly at the reception with monique and alison. The service from all the other staff was excellent but not exactly with a smile all the time. The provide beach towels and free internet if needed at the reception. Also to note is that they have a car hire place in the resort (soleil cars) and you will defintely need a car to see places since you are a long way from any shops. Overall if you want a quite place which is miles away from anywhere with an excellent beach and good service for a reasonable price, i would definitely think about this place but be warned about the dining. If you want good food, i would recomment the anse soleil cafe next door which opens at midday and provides excellent food till late. I would recommend a torch since if you are in the premier rooms, you have to walk on a narrow path which is not well lit and you will step on insects, large snails, lizards etc and definitely take insect repellant.

this is an unusual hotel.
it's not the hotel that the website links to for pictures or facilities.
the welcome was unhelpful and unwelcoming.
we were on half board and because we didn't arrive til late had no choice of meals.(evening meals have to be booked at breakfast)
the room (11) was very good, and the beach was idyllic - although it rained. when it rained no one helped with any suggestions as to what else to do etc.
breakfast was plentiful.
the service at dinner was by one waitress - serving up to 24 people with meals and drinks - and one cook. they often appeared to be in conflict and people got the wrong meals etc. at one point the chef walked out of the kitchen, grabbed our room number (from the table) and returned to the kitchen without a word!the food was mediocre at best. Some guests seemed to be refused any food because they hadn't pre-ordered
It could have been a good hotel, but the staff and the guests (mainly french and german) all seemed depressed, and the ambience was gloomy
we were glad to only stay 3 nights.
There is a very good cafe on the beach (but only open lunchtime in january), and a huge 4 seasons hotel is about to open which may well overwhelm the beach etc - beware because big changes may result.

We loved it here - not the friendliest welcome, but after that things got better and better.
The room was smallish but fine - and what a view.
We were in room 3 and so were just a few yards from the beach - we spent hours just sat there looking and enjoying the view.
Beachcomber is a quiet place - very peaceful and relaxing.
All the rooms have a good view and the beach is just perfect... and pretty quiet. White sand, just incredibly beautiful views and we went snorkelling there for the first time - and we'll never forget it.
Within 10 steps of the shore we were surrounded by lots and lots of the most beautiful fish imaginable.
In fact, the wildlife here was awesome - madagascan fodys everywhere, seychelles sunbirds nesting outside our room, fruit bats all about from late afternoon, rockskippers, sally lightfoot crabs, green backed herons, white tailed tropicbirds, green geckos, greater frigatebirds.... it goes on and on....
Food in the restaurant was good, and the service got more and more friendly and helpful.
So all in all, peaceful place in paradise.
We want to stay here again.

Anse Soleil has a perfect beach with soft sand and no coral. The water gets deep and there are sometimes small waves (unlike lots of Seychelles beaches) The snorkeling is excellent. It is off the beaten track, so not too busy.

The Beachcomber is a small hotel right on the beach. Our room was spacious and comfortable and had a beautiful bathroom.(The shower was bigger than the whole of our bathroom at home!)

The food was OK and not too expensive. The only downside was that we had to place our dinner order by lunchtime and, when we came to eat, the service was quite rushed. This is because the staff all want to get home to bed, and it's like that in most places in the Seychelles.

There is a cafe on the beach and next to the hotel that serves good food, especially fish. It is busy at lunch time with day visitors to Anse Soliel. Last orders are at 7 o'clock in the evening, but the service is not rushed so you can relax and enjoy.
