Stayed here for one night a few days ago. The place is beautifully located on the banks of the Napo River and was a great experience, especially in the dark trying to imagine all those noises where friendly ones.
The place had a good ambience and very friendly staff. The trip to the Pimpilala Falls was certainly a challenge in the rain but was well worth it when we got there. The guide. Maurice (spelt wrong I'm guessing) was extremely informative and pointed out some lovely and frightening bugs, plants and views along the way.
Chickened out on the rubber ring return to the camp, coward inside. The food was good and inventive for the facilities. It was nice to get completly away from the out side world with no wi fi or electricity. The view from the balcony was something I could have spent a longer time to view given the chance. Enjoyed sitting there watching the full moon reflect off the waters of the river.More
