“Pleasant & Divine feel at Uppiliappan Temple”
Reviewed 3 April 2014

I have visited this temple with family & friends. The main deity - Lord Krishna was so wonderful to see. The poojas were performed well in the temple, we visited the temple on Saturday morning, so it was more crowded, but really we had a good darshan. Got a real divine feel in the temple.

“Divine Experience”
Reviewed 8 January 2014

We visited this temple on December '13 and it is really a nice temple to visit. This is easily reachable and the deities are having immense power and if you pray with utmost devotion, all your wishes will definitely come true. The prasadams offered at this temple is without salt, but if you taste it, it will taste as though the same is added with salt and there for no difference will be encountered.

The story behind why these prasadams are prepared without Salt is that when God came to marry Lakshmi, she was a little girl and did not know how to cook. She prepared the dishes without salt and God accepted this. No wonder!!!. I have visited this temple many a times, and it still looks new..This is infact, my husband's home town....

“Well maintained temple”
Reviewed 26 December 2013

Visiting on days other than Saturday will give you a lot of time to have a darshan of this beautiful deity. Lord puts on a bigggg smile which makes your tiredness go off. On Saturdays, except the temple to be open till 1.30 AM in the noon... Temple is maintained super clean. Plan to visit Patteeswaram, Thirusakthi muttram and Thirunageswaram. It is believed that people who cannot go to Tirumala Thirupati to complete their offerings can alternatively do here as this Lord is supposedly the big brother of Lord Srinivasa at Thirupathi.
