First impressions were good when we visited for Sunday lunch - blackboard displaying names of suppliers locally. Our table was booked for 1pm - we ordered 4 Roast Beef - two medium, two well done - kept it simple. My son then ordered bread and olives which took ages to arrive. We waited over an hour for our roast dinners and when they arrived the meat was cold and tough. We complained and were offered other choices and again the meat was dry and lacked flavour and looked like it had been reheated. Sadly this village pub failed to deliver and is not on our list to return.
