Perfect location. We are national trust members, Forty green farm cottage is near
Hughenden manor where Benjamin Disraeli lived. Also we visited Waddesdon manor which was the home of the Rothschilds. We saw red kites flying high in the sky. Thanks Steve and Catherine for the bottle of wine maltesers shortbread and milk much appreciated. All in all a fantastic stay would come again.
This is a lovely cottage on a peaceful no-through-road. We had a good stay and found everything as described. Communication with the owner was all good - friendly and flexible. Good sized kitchen/diner and cozy comfortable sitting room with log burner. Ideal for a family or a get together with friends. Would definitely stay again.
We had a short stay at the cottage as part of our legoland trip.
We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage is lovely, cozy, clean and warm.
Perfect for families!
Had a lovely stay in this beautiful, peaceful location. It is very child-friendly with lots of little touches such as the games, books and dvds provided and a climbing frame in the garden. The owners were very welcoming and attentive in ensuring it was safe for our toddler. Access to walks straight out of the door and excellent train links from nearby Princes Risborough to London. We also visited Legoland and the Harry Potter Studio Tour, both within 45 minutes by car. We would love to stay again!
This quiet, secluded cottage is ideal for a weekend break or longer stay. Comfortable, warm, tastefully decorated but equipped with all the latest technology; close to main highways but near to quiet countryside walks or cycle routes - this period cottage would suit a couple or family.
