“When can I go back!”

Was at The Beachouse last week, staying there for a surf trip, but would recommend this place to anyone looking to have a good time in Fiji. The Beachouse catered for all our needs, and would do so no matter what reason you are visiting the Fijian Coal Coast - for couples, families, back packers - you name it, they were all staying there when we were, and everyone was having a good time. Plenty of surf spots along the coast, SUPs and Kayaks all available at the beach right in front, jungle trekking, fishing trips, shark diving (not for the faint hearted), or if you just want to chill in one of their Chair in the air (made onsite) with a book by the pool, The Beachouse has it all. Breakfast included and the tea time scones were a joy for a ravenous surfer. The staff weren't staff they were all part of the family, as were we or at least that's how it felt. Would go back in a flash!

Where do I even start? I was supposed to stay two nights at Beach House, but ended up staying for 4. I would have stayed more but I had to catch a flight out of Fiji. The atmosphere, accommodations and facilities are excellent. There are a TON of activities going on every day that the staff organize - everything from surfing to shark snorkeling. The food is very, very good and definitely cheap for what you get.

Everyone at Beach House (guests, staff, and especially the owner, Andrew) were so friendly and outgoing. This is definitely a place I plan to return to in the future and I'd highly recommend spending at least a couple days at Beach House if you're in Fiji. Thank you!

I am travelling alone which can be daunting at times..... The Beachouse made me feel like I was travelling with a big bunch of buddies, it is safe, clean and FUN. It is a great place to make greater friends, try new things (like paddleboard surfing or slack-lining!!) , relax in a hammock and dance to Shaggy in the evening! It is not a place for Precious People however, there is a DIY attitude...your holiday is what you make it... but all new ideas are met with enthusiasm and the Owners are very open-minded. When I was staying there... there were a large range of people, from teens traveling with their mum, to gap-yearers, to people celebrating 50 anniversaries. One evening you would have found us all around the same table playing cards. Highlights for me, were Curry Night, the dogs (especially cheeky booja), Shark Snorkeling with Kenny, SUP surfing, the Newly cleaned and renovated Backpackers Kitchen and live music. Would and Will suggest the Beachouse to anyone who wants a Wholesome Holiday full of Laughs and lifelong memories. :)

Room Tip: One night I got upgraded to a Travellers room and they are LOVELY. The cheapest of the Privates but...

Just finished up my 9 night stay at the Beach house and it was amazing. I was on a surf trip with 7 mates and they catered for our every need. The accommodation was fantastic, private bungalow type with a deck and lounges to relax on. Food was nice, most days doing lunch or dinner specials (make sure to get the brownie and ice cream) and free scones every afternoon! Excellent location for everywhere we wanted to go and easy to meet loads of new people. Great vibe. Nothing was a problem for the staff from food and drinks, to organising boat trips and photographer. They're all so friendly and everybody remembers your name. Really felt like I'd lived there for years. Will definitely be going back!

Spent nine days here from 18th to 27th of April for a surfing holiday with 6 mates.

Had a great surf guide 'Semi' taking us around the Coral Coast breaks so ideal for any wave hunters. Loads of other activities are run from the Staff were so friendly here, food was more that good enough to keep 7 hungry guys happy which is not always easy with daily specials ranging from curry to wood fire pizzas. The owner and manager were really useful, organising transport for us on a daily basis. We had a 9 man room to ourselves which was great, slept well every night, breakfast and 3:30pm tea and scones are included in the price of the room.

Staff always smiling, such a nice vibe from the place in general. Would recommend to friends and will stay there next time I'm in Fiji.

Vinaka Fiji Beachouse!

Just arrived back from 10 days at the beach house and had the most amazing time. We went as a group of 7 surfers and explored the local surf spots. The best thing was that there were so many activities outside of surfing, fishing, diving, snorkelling, volleyball, horse riding to mention a few. Very reasonably priced with delicious local cuisine. The most friendly bunch of staff you will ever meet hands down!! Would recommend anyone one to stay there from backpackers, surfers, families and couples. Vinaka to all the team!!!

Hmmm. The Beachhouse is OK but I struggle to say much more about it. In terms of room value it's fairly decent. There is stuff to do there but I'm not sure all activities are included in the price so the reasonable price of the rooms is offset by this. The food was OK but nowt special and moderately pricy, the morning butter had an odd blue cheese whiff about it for two days which wasn't pleasant at breakfast but hey these things happen. I didn't find the food or drink good or bad value particularly but know very well better value can be found in Fiji.
Despite the 'laid back' pretentions there was an air about this place that left me feeling when a large group of young lads comes in, there are nicer and safer places to be. I feel it could easily descend into an 18-30's mess pretty quickly... and I'm a few (just a few) years outside that age bracket. If that's your bag fair enough - personally I like to relax on holiday and not have to deal with drunk little boys who show little self control. I have to deal with enough of that in the UK. This didn't happen but the feeling it could quite easily was ever present - perhaps that's just me.
Some of the staff can seem a little detached as they try to maintain their cool detatched persona. I'm sure eventually they'll grow up and lose the attitude but it's not good for business and if I'm handing over my hard earned cash I expect better.
