Our family had a great holiday at Naviti resort the "all inclusive package" was fantastic and great value for money kids liked the buffet Waswasa restaurent, for a change try the Talei and Bamboo Terrace great food and excellent service in both.Staff were wonderful been greeted with "Bula" and the biggest smiles makes your day fijians truely are the kindest and friendliest people you will ever meet. My daughter got her braided in the "blue hut" far end of the beach also painted my eldest daughters nails and we brought fijian carvings at a reasonable price. Resort facilities are excellent our daughters used the kayaks, went snorkeling, watermelon cracking, egg tossing, volleyball in the pool beware its fiji rules :) the resort pool was great my husband enjoyed the swim up bar. On low tide our girls enjoyed beach walks found many hermit crabs, and bright blue star fish.On sunset lots of frogs around the resort also may see a mongoose if your lucky.I treated myself to The Joy Spa for a hot rock massage best I ever had very relaxing and well worth the money.Bill in reception made us feel welcome the minute we got off the bus even played my daughters ukulele with her made her day,our room was great cleaned everyday with fresh flowers on our bed, nightly entertainment was great Jesse in kids club was wonderful with the kids dancing. My youngest daughter made some new friends there and they even managed to make up a dance routine and performed in the talent quest, polynesian shows, fire twirling, meke show, the "Fire Walking show" at extra cost well worth your money was an amazing experience, kareoke endless nightly entertainment. Sigatoka shopping trip was interesting beware lots of Indians there will try to get you to buy from there stores, also took the bus from Naviti Resort for minimal charge to there sister island Warwick Resort lots of snorkeling girls were happy saw "Nemo" beautiful resort also but much preffered Naviti. Will be back for sure as our girls keep asking us to go back best holiday resort as they say "we meet as strangers and leave as friends"

This morning i pre booked to go back to the Naviti will confirm booking next week, my wife and i have been at this wonderfull resort seven times, the last time August this year we are always made very welcome and very well looked after. The staf are excellent and the variety of food is of a very high standard, being a Scotsman it must be good value if we keep going back.We intend to arrive early Feb 2012.

We have just returned home on 7th December after our 4th visit to Naviti Resort i was worried when i read the reviews as it had been 4 years since our last visit so i thought maybe things had changed but we had nothing to worry about those people that have complained obviously have no life. we arrive at the resort at 10am where warmly welcomed by Bill taken to reception where the ladies remembered us even though it was 4 years ago told us we could go to breakfast but we weren't hungry so taken to our two lovely adjoining rooms which they didn't have to as check in isn't until 2pm housekeeping where putting the finishing touches on one room and apologised we told them not to worry and to take there time. We met up with old friends that work at the naviti the lovely Tarusila, Saini, Asena, Bill, Weku and Jesse and made many new friends. Housekeeping where always helpful they would do your room everyday if you wanted to but do you wash your sheets at home everyday i bet you don't so why should they so we often told them not to worry about our rooms but they always gave us extra towels, toilet paper whatever we needed nothing was too much trouble so i don't know what people are complaining about. the people in kitchen where always friendly whenever they saw us coming for breakfast or lunch they would take us to the table the knew we liked sitting at they always had a smile on their faces and it's genuine Frances was very helpful we couldn't ask for anymore.People complained about service at the bar but whenever they saw us coming they would take our order and bring the drinks to us it wasn't such along wait have some patience people your on holiday what's the rush we should all be on Fiji time. The people at The Naviti make the resort what it is they are the kindest, friendliest people you will ever meet and if the rest of the world where like them it would truley be a much happier place. We also met a friend from home at naviti they where staying at another resort and had came for the day to play golf and eat and they said they were sorry they didn't know about naviti as the resort they where staying wasn't as nice and the people where no where near as friendly as at Naviti Reosrt. So for all you people trying to decide whether to stay at Naviti or not i promise if you do you wont regret it like i said thoses people that whinged obviously have nothing better to do you wont find a nicer place with lovely people than at Naviti. We are planning on going back again soon.

Having been recommended to the Naviti as a family friendly resort, we were not advised they are renovating the pool wing rooms, having a 8 month old that needs day sleeps we were put in a room that they were renovating above us - so we had to listen to the sounds of jackhammering, grinding, and walking over cement dust and cords, after requesting a room change were moved to a room that they were renovating right next to us, so once again listening to all the tradesmen sounds - not want you want on your holiday travelling to a destination with tropical sounds and wanting to relax with the family. The staff were lovely though and very child orientated

Room Tip: anywhere away from renovations - ocean view are the rooms at the moment

this is our second visit to this hotel. i must say that it has gone downhill! the staff seemed very jaded - sick of all the drunk aussies i'm guessing. the revamped pool looked great, the redone rooms were fine, the beach area was good too. there was just this feeling about the place of "it's all inclusive - let's drink our moneys worth". i've never seen so many tattooed men and women in my life. other hotels/homestays on the island were much nicer to spend time at.

Room Tip: rooms in the renovated part of hotel

My partner I travelled to The Naviti Reosrt this month and stayed 7 days in a studio villa. Overall it is a nice place with many friendly people. We had the all inclusive package but ate mostly at the Talei or Bamboo Terrace resturant or ordered off the al a carte menu for anything else. The buffet is dissapointing but each to their own opinion and likes. Advise on transfer to Nadi airport to the resort to go private (we travelled pacific destinationz and they were great) as it is so much quicker and not wasting your day on travel there as it is quite a distance from the airport. We both became sick over there for a few days (not sure why as we were perfectly fine when we went over) which limited us to what we could do so lucky we had a nice room to recover in, would advise just be aware of the hygiene used to wash glasses and prepare meals and make sure you take panadol and other medicines with you as they are quite expensive or scarce from the general store as can be expected. The pool is lovely to relax around and take it all in. Joy Spa is a nice place to either organise a Jacuzzi or massage. Lovely scenery and people provided a nice holiday besides the fact of both of us getting sick over there.

Room Tip: Make sure if you are travelling in the meantime to call to be situated away from the renovations as...

My husband and I who are early 60's have just had our 4th trip to The Naviti Resort (8th trip to Fiji). The only fault I found was the travellers who stayed there and forgot their manners. C'mon people, how hard is it to say 'please' or 'thank you' and to treat the staff there with respect and be civilised. Just because you've paid for the 'all inclusive' there is no reason to walk up to the bar & demand a drink. So many times I heard 'give us a beer' or 'beer' and then they expect the staff to be nice to them!!!
The staff have always been great, they remember you when you return. Food is good, if you don't like 'mexican' or 'indian' book into the Talei Restaurant or the Bamboo Chinese Restaurant & choose from the menu. It's not that hard. Our rooms have always been clean & plenty of towels. You have to remember that the wonderful people that work at this resort, & probably most other resorts in Fiji are earling FJD$2.90 per hour!!! Would you work 8-10 hour days 6 days a week for that????? Give them a break. You're on holiday for goodness sake, what's the rush??
Yes...it is quite a trip from Nadi, but I think it's the only resort that does the 'all inclusive' and it's great value for money. Yes the cocktails are expensive, but you're on holidays aren't you??
There were a lot of kids there when we were there, even though it wasn't school holidays, and lots of them didn't take their manners either, but then listening to some of their parents, it's no wonder.
The 'all inclusive' rate is the best way to go. The new Jacks shop is a good inclusion, although a little expensive, but saves having to travel into Sigatoka, or up to the Warwick.
All in all, I wouldn't go anywhere else in Fiji, we've been to other resorts, and The Naviti leave the rest stranded!!
But remember.......PLEASE take your manners on holiday with you!!!!

Room Tip: If you don't spend much time in your room (and who does on holidays) ask for a garden view and d...
