“Lovely B&B for a stay in the Ludlow area”
Reviewed 17 May 2009

We had a very relaxing weekend at Brick House B&B, having found it via Tripadvisor and Sawdays. The bedroom was very comfortable, power shower, interesting old house and great food sourced locally. The Davids are excellent cooks, as well as breakfast we also had supper cooked for us one night - an excellent 5 course meal for £25 each. This is a good place to stay to explore the area around Ludlow and Church Stretton, with several National Trust and English Heritage properties nearby as well as the lovely Herefordshire and Shropshire countryside and within striking distance of Wales.
We loved the sheep and chickens too!

This was honestly the best accomodation and hospitality I have experienced in years. The owners were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed 3 nights and the first nights meal was the best meal I have experienced outside of a restaraunt. As this was part of a special weekend for my partner's birthday. David and David made the stay very special and a memorable weekend with local advice of places to eat and go. This was placed in a very professionally presented book in the room.

The decor is a good blend of new with old historic building.
The gardens are ideally placed with a very picturesque view and the owners keep an array of old breed chickens and sheep giving the surroundings a true feel of the countryside.

It was exceptionally clean and well kept and the sevice and attention was well worth the price. I would highly recommend this as a stop in Herefordshire as it is central to so many places of interest. My partner and I will no doubt be visiting again.

Booked this through the internet off their website. A very charming B&B, conveniently close to Ludlow and nearby attractions. Excellent attention to detail in all aspects of hospitality. Friendly owners who are attentive and welcoming. Contemporary facilities in traditional setting. Highly recommended!!
