We hadn't booked and everything was very busy all the way up from fort augustus... we were looking for a nice quiet bed and breakfast and here we found the perfect place... they had a room available wich is still a work in progress, but the quallity of the sleep was absolutely fantastic. The lady (I can remember her name) gave us a fantastic wellcome. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast and left with the good feeling that you get when you are well cared for in a guest house.

Can't fault it - had trouble finding it and only turned up gone midnight coz we'd been for a stroll up Ben Nevis but the owner stayed up and waited for us luckily. Room/bathroom/food was top banana. If you're using sat nav you'll also need directions for when you get near the place.

Binniilidh Mhor is a cozy, quite and beautiful place to stay! It is beautifully decorated and when you arrive you feel as if you are home. The king size beds are comfortable and the bathroom is large and has everything that you may need. Sheila and Allan served us a traditional meal that was delicious! The cottage is the perfect place to stay if you are traveling to Skye, Inverness or Fort Williams. We hated to leave, but for sure we will return. We will be telling our friends about this little piece of heaven in the Scotland!

Binnilidh Mhor B&B is new, cozy, clean and beautiful. The area is pretty and peaceful too. The facilities in the room are so customer oriented, you will have everything you need as a traveller! Sheila and Alan both are warm and kind. I love Sheila's home made traditional Scottish breakfast. Will definitely recommend to friends !

We had a fanstaic stay on our first night in the Scottish highlands. Sheila & Alan welcomed us with tea and homemade pancakes on arrival in front of the log burner. The bedroom was spacious with all the facilities you would hope for. Large bathroom with bath and lovely products to use. We stayed in for supper (homemade fish chowder followed by chicken with haggis). Was lovely to have the flexibility of staying in and being cooked for. We spotted deer just meters from thier back door and a black grouse in the morning. We used the bikes from the shed to explore in the morning following a delicious breakfast. The attention to detail and hospitality was excellent and we will definitely recommend it to friedns and family. Hopefully we will be back too!

Room Tip: We stayed on ground floor front (but ground floor rear was exactly the same)

As a family we discovered Binnilidh Mhor nearly eight years ago and every year since our summer holidays have been spent self catering at the cottage. It is exceptionally clean and is equipped and decorated to a very high standard. The cottage is located in a very quiet spot with Skye, Inverness and Fort William just a day trip away. Sheila and Allan are very hospitable and cannot do enough for you. In May this year my husband and I also stayed for bed and breakfast. The cooked breakfast is fantastic and with the addition of the cereal, fruit and toast it will definitely fill you for the day. Whether you are self catering or require bed and breakfast I would highly recommend staying at Binnilidh Mhor and without a doubt you will want to return.
