“An absolute delight”

A beautiful, cozy, comfortable and clean bed and breakfast. Breakfast was delicious with a great selection of homemade jams, great cooked selection (changed daily) and the most delicious porridge I have ever had! (cooked by an Englishman and I have porridge everyday!) The room was beautiful with a great view and the beds very comfortable. Ken and Martin were wonderful hosts and helped us plan our day every morning at breakfast. They showed us where to find magical off the beaten track treasures. A hidden beach, a ruin of a castle with breath taking views, several beautiful water falls and some utterly magnificent driving routes to see the best of the West Coast. They were patient, helpful and warm and my partner and I will definitely be returning to Serendipity next time we wish to visit the West Coast.

We stayed here to break our journey home from North Uist via Uig on Skye and what a great decision that was. Ken and Martin were so friendly and welcoming, (especially to our dog) and we really enjoyed our stay in their beautiful home surrounded by a lovely garden in stunning surroundings. Breakfast was great and the bedroom spacious and comfortable
We will certainly plan stay with Martin and Ken next year when we return to the North West.

Martin and Ken made us most welcome and we felt at home immediately. Facilities were excellent and the setting of the house was perfect. We wanted to stay within a short car journey of Uig ferry port on Skye and this was ideal - a perfect spot to unwind before continuing our holiday in the Western Isles. Definitely somewhere we would recommend to friends for the warm hospitality, excellent breakfast, helpful and knowledgeable hosts and overall ambience.

Fantastic B&B in a wonderful location! Great warm welcome received from hosts Martin and Ken who really made us feel at home and welcome in their lovely clean and comfortable B&B. They also went out of their way to help us with our itinerary. We really enjoyed our 2 day stay and managed to visit the Isle of Mull as well as the Isle of Skye. We were very lucky with the weather too which was fantastic. We would certainly have liked to spend longer there and hope to return again in the near future. Thanks guys! Kind regards & Best Wishes, Ian & Barbara

We had spent a long day exploring the Isle of Skye, when we arrived at Serendipity we 'embraced' by the care and delightful enthusiasm of our hosts. It felt as is if we arrived at long lost friends. Our hosts opened their home and hearts to us, sharing all their knowledge and information about the area and answered all our questions. Over a delicious breakfast we also got to taste seven different home made jams (another reason to stay). Based on our hosts advice about what to do in the area, we had one of the most magical days. If there is one suggestion I could make, is to stay longer than one night.

Room Tip: I would stagger breakfast, if the B&B is busy. The breakfast room would be uncomfortable if th...

We had a great time here. We hired a car and used this as our base for Scotland, visiting many areas. We came as a mature couple and the married childeren. We immediately felt at home and would defiantly come back for a second visit. The hosts do anything they can to make you feel welcome and are full of information. Fantastic experience alround. Thank you.

Serendipity means the occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way and it certainly suits this lovely little B&B. We stayed here for one night and would have stayed longer if Martin and Ken hadn't been booked out already. The room was spotless, with a lovely bathroom and plenty of space. The garden and countryside is beautiful and it is a great base if you want to explore the Isle of Skye (which you really should), Loch Ness and the many other beautiful natural attractions in the area. Our breakfast was delicious, including the haggis and our hosts were great company and couldn't have made us feel more welcome. They even found us alternative accommodation just down the road for another two nights. If you want somewhere stress-free, spotlessly clean and in a beautiful natural environment, stay here. Don't let the location put you off. It really isn't out of the way. We drove to Invermoriston and Port Augustus for dinner and it was lovely.
