This spot is a bit off the beaten path and so well worth the effort! We were referred by the tourist info office in Vilafranca del Peredes and as we drove out to the place we drove through vast expanses of vineyards. The home is in a newer neighborhood of Sant Pau and is up a very steep drive. The B and B consists of four doubles above the family home. It was built six years ago but appears to have been built last week. The rooms are large and have king sized beds....a true rarity in Spain. Beautiful from every angle and the family have thought of every amenity, including a very large common area with nice furniture and a complete kitchen for your use. Games and books are provided for guest use. We were strongly tempted to abandon our itinerary and stay here till time to return to the USA. We did stay a second night. The rate was incredible....41 euros for the room and an additional 7 euros if you want the excellent breakfast. At the end of our three week trip we looked back on this place as the best we stayed in every way! The very kind lady of the house, Ester, even called the train station for us to enquire about when the train ran into Barcelona and the rates.
