To describe the drive here as harrowing is an understatement, but you won't regret it once you arrive. The place probably seats a total of 25 people and the views out into the bay are absolutely stunning. The food is also top-notch. My better half and I had the seafood paella and it was one of the best we have ever had. A very, very enjoyable experience.

A real challenge to get to, over a dirt road through the jungle to a cliff overlooking the sea, but absolutely worth it. We found this restaurant-bar filled with "expats" from a variety of European and Latin American countries. A real experience!

Looking for a romantic dinner - this is a must. Open deck, thatched roof, hanging off the cliff, at the end of a dirt road and with scrumptious seafood. Can't be beat!

The road to get there is pretty bad, but the location is just amazing.
When we arived, we were told the service was going to be slow...but we couldn't imagine we would have to wait nearly 3 hours for the food. We were with kids and asked for the kids to be served first and quickly (we just ordered pasta with butter!), but even this didn't happen.
Since we didn't reserve, our order was taken last (even when people who had reserved arrived after us).
Food is kind of pricey and there nothing special about it.
I would recommend the location for its amazing setting, and for drinks only.
The owner duly apologized for the situation, they lowered the bill, offered a liquor and desert.
I guesq it was just a case of bad luck. You should definitely reserve before going.

While staying at Grand Paradise we ventured up here one afternoon to check it out and make dinner reservations. The good...awesome views. The bad. Really slow service and it wasn't even busy. $12 for two very average cubre libres made with cheap rum. It took over half an hour just to get our bill. With our experience we decided against dinner reservations. Heard from others at the resort that it wasn't worth the price.
