We stayed at the Ship Inn for an overnight stay after visiting the Dunnotar Castle.
Location - Walking (about half an hour) Distance to Dunnotar Castle,
View - Right in front of the old harbour. There is also a little trial along the coast in front of the hotel to walk to a beach. Very nice as well
Helpful Staff - Check in takes literally 2mins/the same applies to check out
Good Sottish Breakfast
Lots of free parking outside
Old - as the name says, the interior is a bit old and run down, though we are already staying in the newer acquired part of the hotel.
Mattress - A little old... could be more comfortable
View also - why? we got a room facing the roof top of the next building. Not so pleasant and a little disappointed after walking in the front door expecting a good view.
Overall, the room is very well equipped and I think it is a sufficient for an overnight stay!
