Stumbled across this very pleasant inn while visiting son in Aberdeen. Great pub food reasonably priced. Great location overlooking the water. Would certainly consider staying overnight next time. Only downfall was lack of friendliness from staff.

Nothing more to say. Great food, fantastic view, very friendly staff. Next time I will stay in the hotel, too. Today was just for dinner.

We ate at the Ship Inn 4 times while staying there recently. The staff are friendly and provided pub service, ie you pour your own wine. The food was great - especially the breaded or battered haddock which struck me as the most popular choice both at lunchtime and in the evening. The restaurant and bar were busy all day which is a good sign!
