We had diner in the bar area, because the restaurant was full. No problem, even though it wasn't very cozy. The food was great. We had a tuna steak with noodles and soy sauce, which was brilliant. The lady went for the chicken burger with bacon, also very good! The service was very good. Very kind and helpful. I'd recommend having diner here!

I attended at the Ship Inn along with my elderly relatives who were over from New Zealand and they were impressed to say the least. We started off with seafood starters all round and wow! They were exquisite the vodka jelly with the salmon was lovely! And added a nice kick. For mains I personally recommend the Katsu Curry which was not too spicy more fruity! Delicious! The waitress was spot on with her recommendation. The rest of the family had no complaints...clean plates all round!
For dessert a round of coffees with white chocolate and lime mousse which was very refreshing and brownies for some which were polished off nicely.
Overall a 10/10 from us, the service was great and the waitress was very attentive to our needs. Keep up the good work Ship Inn!

My husband, 18 month old son and I had a great meal here, made all the more amazing as we were squeezed in at the last minute. The food is amazing with great choices for me (veggie), the baby ( eats anything) and husband (total carnivore). Staff were so great with our son, we were really able to relax and enjoy our dinner. Do eat here, you won't be disappointed.

Fish and chips for lunch here was one of the best ever. Not cheap, but very good. Good range of other dishes on the menu. Busy, but service was very good.

As mentionned above: a good stay in the hotel and good food. The mussels were 100% = even so good as in Begium. The crab clamps were also very good. Wine at good price and service OK. Nice stay at a Nice place. Well done Simon.
