Easy to find just 2.5 miles from Stonehaven free parking and short walk from car park.

Arrived at 4 with the sun beginning to set and the light on the castle was stunning.

This would have to be one of the most spectacular views of a castle medieval fortress upon a rocky headland , It doesn't matter what area you go to you just have to take plenty of photos.

A really neat historic location. The castle is old ruins that you are able to wander through and explore.

Love at first sight!

Just amazing great for people who like to walk and take the coastal routes. I found this place to be a safe haven i just loved it from the beginning its some place Game of Thrones should have filmed in. Its just so beautiful. Please if you ever visit Scotland please go and see this castle it amazing I love the history of this place once where William Wallace visited I will up load as much pictures as i can. Stunning views excellent information. Beautiful walk to the castle. Good way to spend your day and there is a burger van at the start of the trail and very tasty too!

Prices are 7 pounds per Adult not sure how much it is for children and groups. But this can be found online.

This place should be on you're bucket list.

Even a pelting wind blowing in from the North Sea, could not take away our the savage beauty of this castle ruins. Sitting on a sheer cliff face, it makes for a photographer’s dream. Worth the drive to get there.
