Popped into Maggie May's for a coffee and snack whilst on holiday in Stonehaven, the service i received was impeccable, i felt comfortable immediately and could have happily stayed in there all day, the coffee was delicious and fresh and the carrot cake was amazing also, i will be returning to Maggie Mays's on my next trip to Stonehaven!

Today's weather was (in the words of a shopkeeper) typical Wimbledon weather, i.e. rain on and off all day. Just been to see a small Highland Games in soggy Drumtochty and when I left, I wanted something warming. So I dropped in on Maggie May's and had a bowl of Cullen Skink, which was delicious. It was rich and comforting, I felt instantly better. The potatoes was a bit 'al dente' but very nice and tasted Potato. Soup served with chunky brown bread. Very satisfying.
