The greatest variety of African food around Mbarara. Can be a bit noisy, especially on week ends. .....................

We stayed here two nights passing through working on a project and passing through on the way to Bwindi National park. I'm so glad I took the time to go through the whole museum. I learned about the area and the culture in Uganda. It's a very well put together museum and the person who gave me a tour was an excellent tour guide.

Must see if you are passing through Mbarara.

Thank Tina M

We stopped for lunch. Our guide urged us to get the buffet. The food was good enough and there were plenty of outdoor tables with umbrellas. Fortunately we also had time to explore the shop and the museum. The museum is small; the pricing is lower for locals than other guests (which was fine with us). You go through with a guide, who explained the artifacts and their significance. He also elaborated on the clan structure. In all the museum took 30-40 minutes. There were also nice restrooms on the grounds.
