We stayed here for 3 nights during our first trip to Italy. The accommodation was wonderful and very spacious, once we found it. Even with a GPS the house was difficult to find and the directions provided beforehand weren't very helpful. A continental breakfast was provided for us in an apartment-like kitchen and we just helped ourselves to it as instructed. Lots of selection for breakfast. We used this accommodation as a base for exploring Rome and it's surrounding areas. You definitely need a rental car to stay here as it is located outside of the small town center of Zagarolo , and it is a good 30min drive to any surrounding towns (like Tivoli). We made the mistake of not having brought any maps or other info on how to get into Rome from here (we only had a GPS) so we ended up driving into Rome to the most distant Metro station, parking the car, then riding the Metro into the city center to explore. I think that there is a train station close to Zagarolo but we didn't know where it was nor did we have a time schedule for it.
