“Like Eating in Mom's Kitchen”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 August 2014

My family and I come every year when boating through town during summer. We are there every weekend and always sit in the back garden patio. Though sometimes we have waited for a table, it's soooo worth the wait. Food is always fresh and delicious. My picky eater kids love the pancakes with sausage and my husband always gets the peameal breakfast plate. My personal favorite is their stuffed french toast. Service is always friendly and welcoming, very happy to please. You get a real family restaurant vibe and can tell staff loves working their too. I would suggest it to anyone who prefers good, down home food. We can't rave about it enough. A Foodie Must Try!

“Don't go”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 May 2014

Food very expensive compared to other breakfast places, we had to drive all around bobcaygeon to look for bank machine as they don't tell you cash only. Guess to cheap to rent debit machine, cheaper to have customer be incovenienced not to mention embarrassed. Was very rude when we addressed this issue. Decor cheap and tacky. Gets away with people paying I think because their either family or friends, gave this restaurant a second go never going back, word of mouth goes a long way.

“Atmosphere blah, good food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 October 2013

The omelette was imaginative and the service was good. I was put off with flies and the server swatting them on the empty tables. The food was good but a little over priced for the "ambience". However charging $1.50 each for PC brand bottle water (.25 at loblaws) is insulting. We were not even offered the choice of bottled water over a glass of water.

“Cute diner”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 September 2013

It is small but worth squeezing into for the excellent breakfasts - really good omelettes and super-thick peameal. It is very busy on weekends because of the quality of the food but the staff never make you feel rushed. Everything is cooked fresh and the portions are plentiful. Worth seeking out.
