Just perfect. We stayed for one night while visiting family for a 25th wedding anniversary party.
Lovely warm welcome & free to come & go as we pleased as you are given a key. Bedroom was beautiful tastefully decorated but most importantly spotless as was our en suite. The best was yet to come! Our breakfast It was superb. Thank you so much can't recommend highly enough. X

We stayed here for one night on the way to the Lake District to break up our journey.

The first thing you notice is the amazing views just prior to arriving at the Chapel Croft Guest House which sits in a prominent position overlooking the valleys. The B&B is a superbly converted old chapel that retains some of amazing stonework and windows from its past. Once you get inside it really opens up and is lovely, modern and homely inside.

Andy and Lynn are superb hosts along with their adorable dog 'Harvey' who is a gentle giant!
Breakfast was lovely and nothing is too much trouble for them, catering for every dietary requirement. There is also free wi-fi which was a bonus.

We cannot wait to stop by again (Even if to just visit Harvey!) and stay in the warm environment that Andy and Lynn give you.

Thank you, Trevor & Nyree

We stayed here for one night as we were attending a wedding at nearby heaton house farm. It is 4.5 miles away down windy, country lanes! But... When we got here ... Gorgeous! It is a converted chapel, with Gorgeous windows. the bedroom was spotless, the bedding excellent top quality and we slept like logs! the bathroom was also spotless, with fluffy towels and lovely decor.

Breakfast was lovely, juice, cereal, fresh fruit, followed by full English with amazing poached eggs from their own chickens! So tasty!

Gorgeous views, excellent for anyone touring the area, would highly recommend!

We stayed here on what was probably the hottest night of the year and so didn't sleep too well, so my only criticism would be that there could have been a portable fan to move the air a little, and it would probably have helped if the velux windows had been opened in advance of our arrival to help cool the room which had obviously been building heat over the previous day.
The house is beautifully furnished and cared for.

Room Tip: They are all in the eaves of the old chapel, so are probably much the same

A friend of mine was getting married nearby in Heaton House farm so we needed somewhere nearby to stay as we weren't from the local area. Lyn and Andy were brilliant, extremely polite and went above and beyond in terms of helping us. The rooms were great considering the rates and we loved our stay there. Unfortunately we got snowed in and couldn't make it to the wedding but still a very enjoyable experience nonetheless and we hope to go back soon so we can actually appreciate the area when not stuck in a blizzard! A testament to their hospitality is the fact that the next morning they accompanied us back to our car (we had to leave it parked due to the snow), lending us their own winter wear to make sure we could get home safely. Definitely the best accomdation I have ever stayed at

There are only 4 rooms at the Chapel Croft Guest House but the quality of them is better than what you would get at a four star hotel. The the modern room was spotless, the bed was really comfortable and you really notice things like the quality linen and furnishings plus all the extras. We only stayed for one night and the owners were very helpful in accomodating our requirements as we couldn't check in until later in the day. The surroundings are beautiful and the breakfast in the morning was excellent. All round an excellent stay in a building that was originally built in 1890!

stayed 27th December 2012 for a function nearby. stunning place, warm welcome, and so quiet!

The bed was to die for, and although compact, the rooms were very well equipped, hugely more than anticipated, and spotless.

As others say, it is odd to remove shoes, but the carpet is immaculate so it is understandable.

Well recommended for venues nearby (only around £10 in a cab to Heaton House farm wedding venue)

thanks Lyn and Andy
