“lovely wedding weekend”
Reviewed 30 July 2014

stayed 2 nights for our friends wedding in the area. Graham was very flexible and relaxed about when we arrived and our changes of plans at short notice. What a lovely man, gave us a warm welcome to his home, and we had a good room with private bathroom. the breakfasts were well prepared, just as we wished with flexible times, 7.30 the first day to fit in with an early wedding and 9.30 the next morning to accommodate potential hangovers! On the morning of the wedding he took our photo in our glad rags and as we left the next day presented us with a framed copy, probably the best of the day!, such a lovely touch. Would love to go back, Graham is a very interesting man and I may need some more tips on future holiday destinations!. Thanks Graham.

Graham, host and owner of this lovely home, made us extremely welcome. Even to the point of standing in the roadway so that we could find the house after taking a wrong turn!
The bedroom was large with private use of adjoining bathroom. Although there were no tea-making facilities in the room, you only had to ask Graham.
Biddulph is a great place to use as a centre for site-seeing around the area. We particularly enjoyed Little Moreton Hall and Biddulph Grange Gardens.
My only niggle was lack of choice at breakfast, I would have liked something other than the 'full English'. My husband, however, loves a good breakfast, and was very happy with the large plate of locally sourced bacon, sausages and eggs etc.
A B&B we would recommend.

Second time round at this b&b.Graham as ever the perfect host, helping to look after my disabled husband, nothing was too much trouble.
We came to see our first great grandson, born last month!
The house as delightful as before, clean, comfortable and welcoming.
Breakfast substantial and delicious, we even took away a flask of
Hot chocolate to enjoy on our way home!
Thanks again Graham, we'll be back!

We cannot praise this bed and breakfast enough! We stayed in the family room which is truly amazing, with a mezzanine floor and genuine 18th century French bedroom furniture.
Graham, the proprietor, really couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable and was really good company too.
Once you've enjoyed the lovely breakfast, you will not need anything to eat until early evening,
Gardens at Biddulph Grange only a walk away as is the local pub with much better than average food.
Will definitely be going back!

I came to Biddulph visiting friends and was very pleased with this B&B. The location was very conveniant being very close to the town, Biddulph Grange Gardens and with easy access to the main roads. Graham the host was very welcoming and made us feel at home and cooked up a fantastic breakfast. The room was comfortable and well decorated and there is a large family room to relax in. I'd highly recommend a stay here.

Stayed here 2 days over a weekend. Graham (the B&B host) is very friendly and accomodating: we were well looked after. For £35 per person per night you get an excellent room, well furnished, in a fantastic well built house (the house itself is an interesting old style build, but is solid). There is a big family room if needed. Breakfast is excellent in the morning, and there is a lovely garden round the back.

The location in Biddulp is nice, although be careful with the satnav as it will try and put you down a sideroad. There is a pub 2 minutes walk down the road, and a Sainsbury's with petrol 5 minutes drive.

The B&B is very homely, and all down to the Graham! Well worth a stay here if you're in the area.

Stayed for 1 night at Garden Cottage after finding reviews on Trip Advisor. We were greeted by Graham the host who is absolutely wonderful. The B&B is his home and he welcomes you as if you are family come for a visit. There was only 2 of us but he put us in the family room which we could highly recommend especially if you are travelling with kids.

Breakfast is a relaxed affair with Graham cooking everything to order (eggs from his daughters chickens - can't get fresher than that) and no time restrictions as mentioned in previous reviews.

If you are keen walkers/cyclist the situation is brilliant for getting about. We had our bikes and Graham pointed us in the right direction to get spectacular views right over to Liverpool and Manchester.

We stayed over as we were meeting friends in the town and found that it was approx 15-20 min steady stroll into the centre. We did pop into the Biddulph Arms which is 1 minute walk from the B&B and had a drink. Really lovely pub and the food that was coming from the kitchen looked great. Would definitely consider eating there.

Graham had not heard of Trip Advisor so we suggested that he take a look to see the lovely reviews that guests have been writing about him and his lovely B&B.

We only live 45 mins away from Biddulph but would not think twice about staying at Garden Cottage. Graham made our stay very enjoyable and hope to see him again in the future. Sharon & Bob
