My husband and I spent 5 days in cherry cottage in what i could only call my little peice of heaven on earth.
The cottage was perfect for a romantic retreat, with a view of the lake where my husband caught some carp and tench, while i was making full use of the swimming pool and sauna which was spotless and so relaxing with seated area around the poolside. The cottage was well equipped and has the most comfortable bed ever. The bathroom had a lovely roll top bath with an addded extra of 2 bath pillows. bliss. The owners were so friendly and welcoming and it is somewhere we will definetly be going back to. Paul and Debbie Simpson.

We have just spent a wonderful weekend at the White Chimnies cottages in Biddulph Moor it was brilliant Zeta&Dave and the boys are the best hosts that you could wish for they go out of their way to make your stay memorable, the cottage we had (Beech) was excellent in every way the grounds are lovely I can see why they have had so many good reviews as they certainly deserve them and as Arnie says "we'll be back".

We have just come home after staying in the Ivy cottage which is an amazing and romantic cottage for two with a log burner. We were very lucky with the weather enjoying the courtyard sun trap area next to our cottage and fishing on the lake 100 yards from our cottage door with amazing views over the rolling countryside. The pool is amazing and a real bonus, everything on site was immaculate. The owners made us feel very welcome from the second we arrived. We only left once for a pint next to the canal but didn't stay away for long, we will go back to enjoy some of the walks and cycling, but really wanted a nice chill out and we couldn't have been happier thanks Dave and Zeta

Ours was a walking and cycling holiday for a few days in April/May. White Chimnies is close to the Peak District so it was an ideal location for us. We were out and about every day but quite frankly you could easily stay in any of the cottages for the whole time you are there. Ivy cottage was fully equipped with everything you would need plus loads of surprises like a wood burner and robes for the pool. There’s a full size indoor heated swimming pool, and sauna, and Jacuzzi and games room, apart from the lake and the views etc etc. We didn’t use half the facilities but what a great place to stay. Zeta & Dave are fantastic hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. You’ll love it!
