While the key attraction of Montolieu is its bookshops - a true feast of plenty for the bibliophile - this was a chance find for lunch on what was a cold and blustery day. The food options were simple and good, the service excellent and the value great. The space is also full of character. It was very busy so this is an indication of quality.
The village itself is lovely with charming streets and vistas and an interesting old church.
