It must be a little depressing at times for owners of other restaurants/cafes in this area. That's because it's always busy and often packed to capacity even outdoors at Kulcha.
There's a good reason for this. The owner's philosophy is to keep prices down and quality up. The rest takes care of itself.
This is a cafe so it gets noisy but who cares when the incredibly good food is so cheap compared to other Asian eateries. The food is always fresh, everything gets sold so quickly!
There is a large menu of Thai, Chinese and Vietnamese to choose from. Entrees and a main course for two will cost around $35 and you will probably not get through all the food. Now you see why it's so popular?
Keep up the good work Kulcha....you are the best.

I've never had a bad meal here. The food is always delicious and the portions are generous. The lunch special is cheap and satisfying. Today I had the Spiced Salted Squid and it was amazing, my husband had selection-envy. He enjoyed his lunch of Lemon Chicken but says he is definately ordering what I had next time. Very worthwhile going in at least a half an hour earlier than the usual meal times as the tables do fill up fast.

This is one of our faves for a good meal at a great price. Although it may be noisy inside it's a wonderful place for family or friends as there's something for everyone..a bit of Japanese, Thai, Chinese, etc. It does get full so I suggest to book ahead. Sizzling Egg Tofu, Spicy Salted Squid, Spicy Salted Pork and Chicken Karaage is our family's faves. For those too full for both coffee & dessert I recommend their Affogato!
