Griesemount is a charming Georgian house in a remote area near the village of Ballytore in County Kildare. The owners, Robert and Carolyn Ashe are personable and very welcoming and of course very knowledgeable about both the house and the area. They have preserved the character of the building very well, no mean feat in this day and age. The guest house operation is small and well managed. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast is above average with well-chosen ingredients which are freshly cooked. What more does one need from a bed and breakfast facility?
