Myself, husband and our two friends recently stayed here for the night.
We was met by the very friendly Matt, who quickly explained all we needed to know about our stay, was extremely helpful.
We stayed in the downstairs room, which had a door out to the garden, very nice!
Our friends were upstairs, equally as nice, with a huge shower room.
The rooms are well equipped, lovely shower room and very comfy bed.
Breakfast was top class!
All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating, in fact couldn't do enough for you.
We will definitely be returning.

Excellent hotel situated on the banks of the Little Ouse - picturesque building and grounds and a lovely setting.

The room we had was modern, clean and comfortable - the only slight issue is traffic noise during the night but nothing serious.

The manager, Sylvia was so friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble for her - she is brilliant.

Breakfast - full English is good but there is no evening meal dining so we ate across the road at Brandon House.

Happy to stay again and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: we had a downstairs room I would opt for an upstairs room another time - we heard the people in the room above us walking around at night

Thanks for the terrific review James and I'm glad Silvia looked after you all well and yes she is a diamond and we are so pleased to have her here!

Eating in other than our super breakfasts is possible here but we are better catered for a small function booked in advance by arrangement rather than ad hoc dining.

So don't hesitate to ask about a meal for a group if you are a booking that is inside such and thing and if I can lay on the the staff etc I will be more than happy to do so!

Thanks for your review it was really kind and please remember too that for our best rates it is always best to contact the hotel directly and book with us!

Best to you from Matt and all the team at the Bridge

We travelled from Somerset to Norfolk to attend a family funeral. Arriving after a journey on a Sunday morning the staff at this small hotel were very welcoming and professional. The room was comfortable and the on suite was quite large and we'll appointed. Normal tea/coffee facilities and hairdryer, there was also an iron and board available in the room.
The bed was comfortable and cosy. Breakfast next morning was very good in a conservatory dining room over looking a river and great country scenes. The ducks on the river were entertaining and added to the relaxing mood needed before attending nding a funeral.
Cost reasonable would really recommend this hotel and we shall use it again when visiting family and friends.

Firstly I would like to make a special note on staff member Sylvia who was nothing short of amazing. I have never felt so at home and relaxed in a hotel before!
Welcomed us to the hotel and we asked about local restaurants, gave us great advice and when we decided to get a takeaway.. we asked about borrowing some cutlery, not only did they do that but she set us up a table in the dining room!
Was amazing service!
Lovely room, amazing bathroom and lovely and clean. Lovely nights rest. Only thing I would add would maybe be a directions manual for the shower, lovely to have 3 knobs but which one does what.. would like to know before I get in :)
Breakfast was amazing.
All in all 5* would recommend and come again.

Six members of the Club stayed for two nights. arriving by river cruiser. The boat was able to tie up at the hotel's private mooring and members were greeted by the flamboyant owner/manager. The bedrooms were very clean and had been recently modernised, one having a pleasant view down the river. A special dinner was arranged for the Club on the first night which was of very good quality, as was breakfast.

Ahoy there!

Certainly one of the more unusual groups we have had to stay and what fun you all were! Many thanks for the lovely review too and certainly we would love to see you moor up with the decks on deck for another session of Canasta!

Glad you liked the Lamb Shank evening meal as we love to provide for special occasions so for anyone thinking of similar I'd always get in touch and ask us?

And remember you get our best rates by talking to us direct at the hotel and we love to look after our guests and hope to see you back always
