“Like staying in your own fabulous private villa in Mykanos”
Reviewed 27 July 2013

We spent one night at this sensational hotel. The staff truly were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and they genuinely wanted to ensure that we had the best possible experience at their property. The rooms are on the small side, but perfectly adequate given all the wonderful distractions on offer in Mykanos.

The calming experience that this hotel provides makes you feel immediately relaxed and special. The welcome with cold towels and water at the airport then champagne at the hotel sets the tone. Proximity to Agios Stefanos beach (uncrowded and clean) is ideal and complimentary shuttle runs to and from Mykonos town whenever it suited were wonderful. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Champagne at breakfast time and individually designed dishes every morning added to the feeling of being pampered. Breakfast always felt like an occasion as did lunch and dinner if taken at the hotel. Quality and professionalism of staff superb. Room with private plunge pool was worth the extra, however room was fairly small. Exceptional service and location more than made up for this. We said goodbye and I shed a tear, we had been so well looked after, it truly was emotional to have to leave.

Room Tip: We were glad we paid the extra for the private plunge pool.

The management of the Grace should be very pleased with the level of service they have achieved. Friendly and professional. It was the best part of the hotel.

The only downside - not the fault of the staff - was the high number of families. A strange hotel to want to bring children to it isn't the most child-friendly of places (small pool; quiet and chilled atmosphere).

The Hotel was awesome, only to be outdone by the excellent service. I am confident ,the best service I have ever gotten. The food was incredible. Christina and Olga made every effort to make our stay a great one. My only complaint was that at the high prices we booked at...in the middle of the Greek crisis; I just expected some amount of luxury in my room. The room was upgraded for us and we still found an unusable "futon" as a couch. The TV was a 20". The bed was what I used in college. This isn't the staffs fault and I would definitely stay there again if they spent an upgrade on the rooms. Everything else was top-notch. So all in all an 8 out of 10.

Room Tip: ugrade to a suite with a plunge pool

We made our winter escape from Australia this year to Mykonos at the Grace Hotel.

This Hotel is amazing, from the pick up at the airport ( I would recommend this especially if flying in later at night as Mykonos has not many taxis) and the Champagne Welcome from Kostas and Christina.
As we arrived late (10pm) the Hotel advised us should we wish to eat they will keep the restaurant open. We took up the offer and the food was amazing . Thanks Angelo you made us feel so welcome.

We had the deluxe room with plunge pool (room 41), thou the rooms are small they are well kept, clean with great bathrooms and fantastic bathroom Products, the beds are so comfy and a selection of pillows.
Room size in Mykonos isn't really too much of a concern when the weather is amazing - the balcony was huge and a fantastic retreat to soak in the views and the sun.

Pool side nothing is a worry - if you want something simply ask and it will be there - in one Greek minute , You're on holidays!!!

Breakfast daily poolside is a such a treat - it includes Champagne and a different menu daily and if that doesn't take your fancy let them know and they will make what ever you would like.
The staff in the Restaurant are just lovely - huge thanks to Angelo, Katerina, Christina & Mariana.

If you want to de stress you must try the massage - we did twice! It is very popular and amazing - a great way to start and finish and beautiful vacation.

The second last night the restaurant set up a private restaurant on our balcony , wow! Great view and great service - than you Dimitris and Katerina.

Dejan in the bar can make anything you want or give him a chance to work his magic for a relaxing Mykonos Cocktail.

Marios at Front Reception knows all the cool and hip restaurants - challenge him with what you feel like - he got it right for us and exceeded expectations.

The Grace Hotel made us feel like family our farewell was as amazing as the welcome - with everyone saying good bye and Kostas the General Manger waving us off.

The Grace Hotel is well worth every dollar, pound or euro - you shouldn't be disappointed

Thanks again - Rob

Great hotel! Well staffed. Responsive. Distinctive. Enjoyed being away from the center of activity. Did require transportation to get to town. Recommend getting a scooter or using taxis. We rented a scooter. It was a lot of fun!

I've been here on Oct 2011. stayed 3 nights combined 3 nights stay with Grace Santorini. so we got some discount and benefits.
when I reached my room, I found my decision is something wrong. it's not the hotel but the room type. I book the VIP suite in Grace Santorini, in the case, for the budget reason, I book the double room with plunge pool here. when I check the floor plan, I found this type of room is a little small than the double room, but since there's a lovely outdoor plunge poor, I finally book this type. however, when I open the door to find the room is too too small. I don't know what about other same type room, but my room-room 42 is terribly small... a double bed with 3 corridors, no more space... the corridor is only allow 1 person pass, I guess big size people may need sidle...the terrace is big, but the plunge pool is small compared with Santorini one. I think double room shall be better than my choice.
however, Grace Mykonos is a beautiful hotel, design is good, as well as location. all rooms have a sea view, 5-10mins driving distance to the Mykonos town. services are excellent, staff are friendly and helpful. I've tried Spa here, it's pretty good.
same as Santorini, the breakfast is not plenty enough, not any Asian type food.

Room Tip: if you choose double room, please be aware the double room with plunge pool is very small.

Dear Fish Ting,
Thank you for sharing your comments on your stay in 2011. With regards to the breakfast menu, it is our philosophy to bring the local experience to life, not only through design concepts, facilities and our team members, but also (and very importantly) through our culinary offering. We try to use local produce wherever possible and many of our guests have really enjoyed quality of the Mediterranean dishes which our chefs put together. We are sorry to hear that this particular room did not suit you, but do hope it does not deter you from visiting us again soon, as it would be a pleasure to welcome you back.

Kind regards,
Kostas
