The owner and his family are very hospitable and you can tell they genuinally care about their clients. The hotel and rooms are basic but fine. The hotel outside is right by the beach and all white- pretty big building right on Kamari Beach. Not much walking distance near except a small shop for snacks and drinks and a very good restaurant next door. There is WIFI in the room which is great. I suggest you rent a car if you can drive stick next to the hotel. Otherwise you would be subject to the bus which comes like every 1-3 hours depending on the day for 1.6 Euros or pay $10 Euros to get into town. Breakfast is hard boiled egg, some loaf cake, cheese, bread, and yogurt. Not the american style breakfast but quaint and fine for me. Owner was also nice enough to drop off us at the ferry since we didnt book transfers. Thank you Hotel Artemis

Really enjoyed my stay at the Artemis hotel at the end of April to early May. The location is ideal with a lovely beach over the road , several tavernas nearby and the bus stop outside the hotel. Antonis is most helpful and the family and staff are all very friendly. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms are the best.

Although 2 stars , charges 2 star price. Hotel gets all important things right. . CLEAN,STAFF, LOCATION AND PRICE. Bed comfortable, pillows and bedding all good No pool but sea/lovely beach 30 metres away. No food in hotel apart from included greek breakfast and toasties but 4 tavernas close by when season starts (end April), 2.5 miles from mykonos town , bus 1.60 euro 1 way ,taxi back 5 euros (up to to 4 people).Mykonos town nice with harbour , pelican, quaint alleys and back street shops , slightly expensive and catering for cruise ships which dock every day.Hotel owner Antonius is lovely and he even gave us a lift to airport on check out . Rest of staff agalina and old lady try hard to please and are great . Not luxury but we really enjoyed hotel and location and will go back . THANK YOU ARTEMIS !!

Room Tip: front first floor overlooking sea are best , (sun from 11am till dusk)

Just spent a week at this lovely hotel. It's in a great spot right across from the beach. We had a great sea view room. It is basic but extremely clean with fresh towels daily and the sheets were changed at least twice in the week.

The breakfast although the same every day was plentiful and tasty. The owner and staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for you.

Mykonos was delightful and as it was the very beginning of the season was very quiet. From talking to shop and restaurant owners it gets very busy in July and August. From all the reviews I had read had expected it to be more expensive than it was.

We had a lovely time at this hotel and would definitely stay again. It was nice to be in a quiet area outside of town. We walked into town most days (about 35/40 minutes ) and got a taxi back which cost 5 euros.

Looking forward to going back.

My girlfriend and i went on a multiple island trip in Greece last summer, we visited three islands of wich Mykonos was the first one. Hotel Artemis is a beautiful little hotel at the beach with a nice view on the ocean. The owner welcomed us personally en was very kind and helpful. The room we stayed in was very clean and the airconditioning worked properly. The hotel offered a good breakfast. there is a busstop in front of the hotel that allowes you to get to the centre of Mykonos town within minutes. If we ever go back to Mykonos, we will certainly go to this hotel!

I went to 3 different hotels while travelling all over greece...this hotel was by far my favorite! spoiled by the great location (next to a beach, ATV rental, mini mart, and best of all an irish bar). The owner and his workers are fantastic and i enjoyed their breakfast over the other greek hotels I stayed at. I was not supposed to get a transfer from the ferry dock to the hotel and to my surprise, the hotel had me on the list of people to pick up and eventually drop off once my time in Mykonos was done. Def listen to the leave your window closed at night...i did not and ended up with over 15 bug bites mainly on my face and upper extremities. I'm already wishing I could go back!

This is a wonderful hotel in a beautiful setting. It is located just across the street from the Stefanos Beach. The hotel staff are very helpful and the owner Adonais was charming. The bus stop to town is right in front of the hotel. Breakfast is good with some variety to it. There is also a market right next store and an Irish Pub (!) next to the market.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that faces the beach
