“Loved every minute!!!!!!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 August 2014

My partner and I just left the hotel this morning and couldn't wait to jump online and spread the word.

If you are looking for a nice secluded place to relax and lay by the pool for a good price which is away from the party beaches, Rocabella Mykonos Art Hotel and Spa is the one to to go to.

Rocabella hotel was the highlight of our entire stay in Mykonos.
The view was breathtaking, as the resort islocated at one end of the island which allows you to see the entire city town.

Additionally, not only was the resort sensational with its amazing pool bar area, own boutique and other facilities (including free shuttle bus services to the town and other places whenever you want), the food and staff were fantastic. Shout out to the reception staff Maria and Xenia, the driver Alexandro and the bartender Angelo, you were exceptional and accommodating each minute of our stay.

Will definitely be returning to this resort.

My husband and I were in Mykonos for 2 days and 3 nights for our honeymoon, before going to Athens, and right after our stay in Santorini. Our travel agent had given us a list of a few places when we met with her and after reviewing each of them through TripAdvisor, we decided to stay here. It was a wonderful choice!

LOCATION

The Rocabella is located in Ageos Stefanos which is just outside of the downtown area. It is a nice location because it is quiet (besides the rooster across the street), outside of the hustle and bustle if you are looking for that, and offers some great views. Their transport service will take you to where you need to go on the island. There is a beach that is just a quick walk down the street.

ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES

The hotel has a shuttle service that will take you wherever you need to go. The driver picked us up from the ferry and took us to the hotel. He was a great driver - very friendly and very helpful! Upon check-in we were welcomed with a glass of champagne and some bread with tomatoes. We were given an orientation of the hotel and given ideas on where to go during our stay.

We went to our room and there was a bottle of champagne waiting for us. Our room, as I imagine all of the others, was very spacious with the bedroom area on one side and the bathroom area was fairly private.Very rustic/contemporary inside. There were doors that led to a veranda from the sitting room and we had our own outside hot tub with views of the sea. I would say it is fairly private, though you can see the neighboring room guests depending on where they sit outside. Our room happened to be above the back door of the laundry facility and the worker would be talking very late at night outside on his phone at times - only complaint and that was due to room location; not bad when the windows are closed but there were some nights when we wanted them open. They will put aromatherapy melts in your room, while you are out, if you choose to.

The hotel offers a pool with plenty of lounge seating and cabanas. There is a pool bar and they insist that they come to you and bring you the drinks; we would sometimes walk up there and they would tell us to sit back down. They genuinely want to take care of you and have you relax and enjoy your stay. There is also a restaurant at the hotel that is very good. It may seem simple but there was this chicken and noodle dish that was to die for...I think I got it twice for lunch. Room service is also available and their presentation is very nice.

This hotel offers wonderful amenities, decor, service, relaxation and a great location! I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: See if you can get a room with a hot tub on your veranda. We had a room that was above the laundry f...

We stayed at the Rocabella for 10 days in June/July 2014 and had a brilliant time. The hotel appears to be very well run with great attention to detail and wonderful, pro-active staff who cannot do enough for you. Lots of little touches that make your stay there special.
It is about 3 miles from Mykonos but a complementary shuttle service takes you there and collects you. Also there are some local tavernas on Agios Stefanos which are excellent as is the food in the hotel's own restaurant if you do not fancy going out.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the Rocabella.

What an AMAZING place to stay. Upon arrival we were welcomed by Tassos who told us all there was to know about the island of Mykonos all whilst sipping on a glass of champagne. Our rooms were perfect, spacious, clean, cool and comfortable. The service is second to none and the staff cannot do enough for you. Lying by the pool you are brought little treats whilst sunbathing, with only 21 rooms here you are never fighting for a lounger, always plenty of space to catch some rays and relax. Great poolside music and a reasonably priced pool bar, lovely food for lunch from the pool bar also. In the evening there is a bottle of something to help your self to before heading out which the hotel provide a shuttle for wherever you need to go and that runs until midnight. We travelled as 2 couples and enjoyed every moment of our 10 days here before heading to Santorini. I would come back over and over, I love this hotel. A true hidden gem!

This is an amazing hotel, definitely one of my top 10 favorite hotels. First off the staff were top notch, I can't say enough good about them. Second the rooms are top notch, I would definitely suggest getting a room with a jacuzzi, there is nothing quite like drinking sparkling wine in a hottub while looking out at the ocean in the privacy of your own balcony. Finally the hotel in general, we spent a few nights away from the town hanging out with people at the hotel bar, everyone was super friendly which made for a wonderful experience.

Room Tip: Get a room with a hottub.

Have been staying in the Rocabella Hotel. Nice setting, beautiful views, pool large and nicely situated. Rooms almost perfect. Breakfast buffet delicious. Only the service is not always top standard, however, it depend who's in charge. Tassos as well as the other girls at the reception were very helpful, excellent tips and good organizers. Room service and the service at the breakfast buffet were sometimes a little too easy and not always attentive.
Overall the Rocabella can be recommended.

Room Tip: Book a room in the upper part of the hotel, not too close to the pool or the reception.

We booked a night on our way to Paros.

After a long flight delay with Lazyjet, the welcoming at Rocabella finally put us in holiday mode.

Our bedroom (119) was stunning. The most fore bedroom of this hotel with unspoiled sea view and a terrace with jaccuzi, it probably ranks in my top 10 rooms with a view.
This chic boutique hotel is run by young, dynamic, smiling and efficient staff. The food is on par with the overall experience being light, fresh and tasty. Breakfast is just wonderful.
The all place made me regret we only spent a night there. Will definitely be back.
