Recently stayed three nights at the hotel and booked due to all the positive reviews from here. First, let me repeat what many have said, a very nice couple that offer pleasant accommodations at affordable prices runs this hotel. Email communication was always prompt, courteous and Vaggelis gladly picked us up from the port. The hotel was very empty due to it being the end of the season but we were upgraded to a larger apartment at no additional cost. The rooms are very clean but simple, excellent free wifi, satellite TV and a nice terrace overlooking pool area. The hotel also offers laundry service, free beach towels & umbrellas. The pool area is nice with plenty of lounge chairs. Breakfast was simple but offered us enough.

It is very short walk to the beach, which was absolutely beautiful. Agios Prokopios is a little seaside beach town that has not fallen as of yet into the trap of mass tourism. There are many little restaurants with a charming atmosphere. We ate at the same restaurant, Colesseo, for the three nights in Naxos and felt lucky we found a good place to eat. Within walking distance are miles of beautiful beach and turquoise water. Our regret is that we did not discover this gem of a place sooner and that we did not book for a longer period. Naxos is the largest of the Cyclade Islands in the Aegean and has much to offer. If you are traveler on a budget and want to find nice place to stay that is clean and offers much, then take a chance and book at this hotel. We look forward to coming back one day soon.

We were here during the very low season so the island was really quiet and a little boring. So we did spend more time than we would have liked at the hotel but it was perfectly good to do so. The place is squeaky clean, quiet and in a good location. The swimming pool is lovely and there were plenty of sun beds for us (the hotel wasn't very busy though).
The best thing about this place is, as many others have said, is the owners. They are so superb it made our time in Naxos. In our booking package, we were supposed to get car rental. The car belongs to the owners. But since my husband didn't like driving a manual, he asked if we could get an automatic car. Automatic cars are so rare here and they didn't have one for us to take so they slashed the room price by a huge portion so we could rent an automatic from a rental shop.
We were very happy with our stay and would not be reluctant to stay again. The only thing that could have been better was the breakfast which wasn't very fresh. But given the small amount of guest present during our stay, it's understandable that they didn't put a lot of effort into their breakfast. And the bed was a quite hard : )

We decided to stay for 3 nights in Agios Prokopios Hotel as the beach there is one of the best beaches you can find on Naxos.

The hotel is located just out of the busy street and 3 minutes walk to the beach and the restaurants. The rooms are nice and clean just a little outdated and the the shower is build for very small people. The owner and the staff are very friendly and to rooms where cleaned every day.

If you are looking for a not to luxury hotel for a good rate then I can recommend this hotel to you.

I have just returned from our vacations in Naxos and i wanted just to say that this hotel is the best that i have ever visited in my life.
Rooms were spacious, the owners Efie and Vaggelis were very polite and were trying to make our vacations memorable. There was daily service in the room (clean towels and linens), great breakfast and the pool place was unique for my child.I would definately recommended this hotel to every body.
The island is the best in cyclades with great long gold beaches with crystal hot warters and clean sants.

We stayed for a week in July and Hotel Agios Prokopios was great. We've stayed at a lot of Greek island hotels and this was much nicer than some of the others we've stayed in over the years. Vagelis and Effie were especially welcoming and hospitable. The breakfast is good, the pool is great, and the rooms are cleaned daily. My only qualm would be that the bathrooms could use some updating, but this is the case for any Greek island hotel.
