A family run hotel, Yiannis and his sister were so kind and accommodating. My sister and I were island hopping by ourselves for the first time without a big group so we were a little vulnerable at first. Yiannis and his family took such good care of us and were always there to answer any questions or help us out in any way they could. They offered us lifts into town whenever they could and we were able to use their laptop as we pleased in the hotel which was great!
On our first day, they were at the port of Naxos to meet us and carried our bags which I was so grateful for because I was wrecked after the ferry and very hot! On arrival at the hotel, they offered us beverages (iced coffee/homemade wine/juice etc) and showed us around. We were given a choice of bedrooms which were all immaculate and so beautiful, all ornately decorated. The room cost 35 euro per night (17.50 each). This was a bargain as we had two single beds, a well equipped ensuite, fab balcony and kitchenette and a/c. We could have stayed in a room without the kitchenette for 30 euro per night.
The hotel is ideally located. It is literally 5 mins walk from the small town of Agios Prokopios and a short bus ride away from the town of Naxos. In Agios Prokopios there are many tasty restaurants (Italian, Traditional Greek food etc), a quad/bike rental place, a few supermarkets and a beautiful beach. The beach was nice and quiet when we were there (8-12th June) so instead of the usual few euro you'd pay for loungers, we got them for nothing! Later in June watersports were on offer on the beach (water ski, banana boat, kayaking, windsurfing etc).
The buses to Naxos go every half hour or hour (I can't exactly remember because we got mixed up with the times and often were waiting around for awhile!). You can also walk to Naxos but it would take around 25mins. The beach of Saint George is near Naxos town. It's a busier beach than the one in Agios Prokopios and nice for a bit of atmosphere. There's lots to do in Naxos town. It's a laid back kind of town but there's lots of life there too. There are plenty of nice shops, an open air cinema (which was so cool!!), internet cafes, the Venetian museum, bars, clubs and a large variety of restaurants- there's a particularly nice Mexican place called Picasso (you'll see it advertised everywhere) and a nice Asian place too. For a nice Greek restaurant Scirocco is a friendly place and it's right by the town square.
The bus station is right by the port just a little walk outside the town and there are buses to Filotti (where you can visit Mt. Zeus the highest peak of the Cyclades, there is a cave there too) and to all other sights on Naxos.
This hotel was just perfect. It was great to be near the town of Naxos but at the same time be away from the hustle bustle when we liked. We slept soundly as it was peaceful around the area. When we were leaving for Santorini, Yiannis hooked us up with similar accommodation in Santorini. That was such a huge help as it saved us having to sort that when we got there. We ended up having the same experience on every island we went to so that we never had to search for accommodation! It's a great system and suited our budget and needs v well.
Overall, we loved the place and the family so much that we ended up coming back here as our last stop before going home to Ireland!! It was just so relaxing and easy staying here. Thanks so much for everything Yiannis and family :) We will definitely be back!

Stayed in Hotel Villa Adriana for 3 nights with 4 girlfriends. A lovely family run hotel. We met everyone from the granny to the grandkids. We got lovely homegrown olives and tomatoes every time we ordered a beer. Collected from the port and brought back for free. Very close to the beach and the village and very cheap. Loved it there.

I've stayed at Villa Adriana 4 times and each time I've stayed for longer than I planned. The last time I stayed for nearly 5 weeks.

The hotel is incredibly clean and quiet. You can walk to the beach and tavernas in 5 minutes and it's only 10 minutes by bus to the main port of Naxos. Naxos is a great island, Mykonos and Santorini are nice to see but very touristy and expensive. Naxos has better and more easily accessible beaches and provides a more traditional Greek experience.

The family at Villa Adriana are very welcoming and helpful and I'll definitely return.

At a few minutes walking from one of the best beaches of Greece. Yannis & family made our stay a very relaxing experience. Beautiful big house, several nice terrasses, swimming pool, original decoration changing daily. Very clean. Value for money! We'll definitely return!

I don't know what JayV's problem is with Villa Adriana. The place is nice, the people are nice, and there is no problem with "rules everywhere". You are *advised* not to leave the light on and windows open, as you'll end up with a room full of mozzies - seems sensible advice to me. The only real "rule" is hours of use for the pool. Again, as I don't particularly want to listen to drunks in the pool at 2.00 am, I don't have a problem with this. Others may have a different view. I've stayed in Villa Adriana twice. Its a family business, run by Yianni, his sister Nicoletta and their mother. They ALL work very hard, and they are all among the most pleasant hosts I've met. I wouldn't recommend it to someone who is looking for Party Central, but for a nice, relaxing spot, you can't beat Villa Adriana.

We stayed for 4 nights. Our room was probably the best we had during our trip, big and a good bathroom. There was a lovely pool and the owner was very helpful. Location could of been better but it was only a short walk to the beach a few few tavernas. You really need to head into Naxos town as there wasnt a whole lot going on here. Would stay here again.

I was very happy with this hotel. We booked a self catering apartment. The hotel was clean, superbly decorated in Cyclades style. The owner Yannis is a very busy guy but he was nice to us all the time. I felt well and I am willing to return maybe next year. Agios Prokopios, where the hotel is located, is a nice location with sandy, beautiful beach and water. Highly recommended. Thanks Yannis and Nikoletta for making us feeling welcome.
