“Lovely hotel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 May 2014

Stayed here for 4 nights in a sea view room . Very friendly staff throughout the hotel. Stunning views and very comfortable room. Unfortunately the walls must be a bit thin as you could clearly hear the people next door. This kept me awake at night. The breakfast buffet was very good and we had a lovely meal in the restaurant one night. It was great to have the hotel shuttle to take us into Mykonos town in the evenings. We also ate at Hippie Fish which is walking distance, the views were lovely and the moussaka was very good. Worth a visit. The biggest disappointment was the swimming pool which was freezing, surely a hotel of this standard should heat their pool. Such a shame as it will stop us returning.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms have stunning views

We returned after a 3 year absence and not much had changed including most of the staff who as always were so enthusiastic and welcoming. We got a vip transfer from the airport to the hotel which was worth it. we asked and were given the same room we had on our first visit (234) the view from the balcony is to die for. The hotel like most on Mykonos shuts over the winter and only reopened on the 1st of may so a few workman were still putting the finishing touches. The weather was rubbish for the first few days cold and windy. Whatever we asked for we got and instantly too nothing is too much trouble here for the staff. So you can forgive the hotel for having shower curtains which try and wrap themselves around you when the shower is on full blast and the most annoying thing the swimming pool is so cold all year round its impossible to swim in it. Its all the money but we think well worth it . A great location with a little shop for the essentials just down the hill too . Perfect

Room Tip: you must get a sea view room

We were not originally booked into the Mykonos Grand but were lucky enough to be offered a fabulous suite when we were disappointed with the hotel accommodation offered to us somewhere else.
Right from the first moment we arrived the manager and his staff bent over backwards to do all they could for us. We had suite 330 which was kept spotless by the maids. It had great views out to Delos Island as it was high up. Every evening we arrived back in our room they had left a sweet little gift on the bedside table and the bed was fabulously comfy with pillows that was like putting your head on a cloud.
We enjoyed the poolside restaurant most days for lunch and the staff there were so lovely- as were all the staff. I can honestly say I've not been to a hotel before where every member of staff were so cheerful and happy to go that extra mile for the guests. We were so impressed with Yannis the hotel owner/ manager who would be in the breakfast room wiping down areas and replenishing stocks with the rest of the staff as well as being behind the reception, very often late into the evening.
I totally recommend this hotel. Worth every penny and more.
If I had one tiny little gripe it would be only that the complimentary bus into and back from town stopped at 22.10 which I think should have gone on to at least 23.10 if not midnight. As there are only about 20 odd taxi's on the island it can be a chore to get one back. We shall go back again, it's a real find!

Staying here was a real treat. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were very attentive. Worth asking for a sea view room. Note that the hotel is set over different levels so finding your way round can be a tad tricky until you get use to it. Warning this is Mykonos so be prepared for strong winds but the sun is strong too :-)
Town is a good 10min drive away but hotel provides a shuttle service in the evenings and taxis are only €10. There's also a local bus.

This hotel had the most lavish breakfast spread by far! We had a family room that sleeps 4 and was super comfortable with two bathrooms. The second bed was a sofa-bed but it was manageable. The staff was very courteous-Georgia and Suzy were exceptionally warm and welcoming. Will definitely be returning on my next visit!
The hotel staff gave us some good recommendations for around town-restaurants, shopping, getting around etc. The hotel is about a 10 min cab ride from Mykonos main town, but the hotels in town have much smaller rooms so its a much better trade-off to stay outside town.

Room Tip: We had room 235, newly constructed and right next to the breakfast restaurant. The hotel is built in...

This is the best hotel I have ever been!
They make you feel a Queen/King! Everything is incredible: the hotel installations, the staff, the breakfast, the pool, the food... EVERYTHING!
As soon as we arrived we were received in a VIP check in, where their exceptionally friendly staff welcomed us and explained us every detail and option we had during our stay: breakfast time, spa, diner at the beach, in others.
The rooms and their views looked like you were in a movie: everything white, with delicious presents for us, and an amazing ocean view.
They offer free transportation everyday to and from the town.
The breakfast has a lot of options, including salmon, champagne, and the classical continental as toasts, eggs, bacon, cereals, yogurt...
The pool is big and with really confortable chairs.
The food at the pool bar, is wonderful! We tried the club sandwich, delicious!
The beach, although it is not huge, it is really cosy.

I would highly recommend this hotel, and visit it again when returning to MYKONOS.

Room Tip: The room 333 was great!

We stayed here last year for one week.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming from the minute we arrived to the minute we left.

Our room was upgraded to a suite, which was amazing. We had a huge room, with amazing sea view.

The breakfast buffet was brilliant with loads of choice and again amazing views.

There was a free shuttle bus to take you in and out of the town which was excellent.

Highly recommended and I would definitely go back. This was one of the most relaxing holidays I have ever had.
