We have just returned from a wonderful stay at the De.Light hotel. The staff from the moment we arrived were welcoming and helpful. They went out of their way to provide us with useful information about the local area. The room was lovely however if I had one small criticism it would be the room didn't have a bath only a shower. The views from the pool and hotel restaurant were stunning. The food was outstanding. The Greek breakfast was a delight and I would recommend dining at the hotels restaurant in the evening. The food is exceptional and the twinkle star lighting in the pool makes for a romantic atmosphere.
The WIFI connection is poor if you need internet access, the reception tried to help by allowing us to use another modem. If your looking for a break to totally switch off this is the place to come.
Thank you for a wonderful stay.

De.Light is a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World. With around 18 suites,it's small, it's undoubtedly luxurious and, I can safely say, it is one of the best, if not the best hotel I've stayed in..

If you're looking for somewhere quiet, clean, modern, with exceptional service and attention to detail, this is the place for you- look no further. It's located just far enough from the throbbing activity of Mykonos town to be secluded and private, but not so far as to be inconvenient. There is a regular bus, which is cheap and efficient for the journeys in to town, but it tends to get pretty full for the return journey, so get there early and grab your seat. The alternative is a hire car or Quad bike (fun!).

The food was really amazing- maybe a little on the expensive side for some pockets, but for a hotel of this standard it's not at all bad and certainly not unjustified in my opinion. If you want cheaper fare, then there's always the restaurant on the beach, which is also good and owned by the same group.

The beach is a couple of hundred metres down a steep hill- some have complained about this, but honestly it's not an issue, and the walk does you good. It's also quiet, with loungers and umbrellas free to hotel guests.

The staff were courteous and attentive to a fault. Alexander, Nicholas and Akis at the restaurant and bar were wonderful front-men for the whole team, and the skills of the Head Chef are truly amazing- two Sea Bass dishes where out of this world... Chef was more than happy to talk enthusiastically about the dishes and how he prepared them... he was truly gracious in sharing his secret skills!!

In short, De.Light is far from a misnomer. I would return in a heartbeat.

Honestly, one of the best stays we've ever experienced; cannot fault it. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. Mykonos was beautiful in itself but the hotel made our time in Greece that bit more amazing. The food was incredible as they had a choice of two restaurants in the hotel therefore you could certainly find something to fit your particular taste. Once again, this hotel is wonderful so If you're looking for a relaxing and peaceful holiday then this is definitely the place to stay.

we went to this hotel in May, we did have a slight hiccup on the first night as we had no room, however the staff at the hotel redeemed themselves and bent over backwards to make up for it. Food amazing, very quiet and a gorgeous place to relax. A bus is needed to get to anywhere but its very cheap. The food is lovely at the hotel however quite pricey! no healthy nibbles can be ordered its all 'huge' there is a taverna that sells cheaper food directly opposite though. If i ever went back and i hope to, then i will take a travel kettle as I had to request hot water and milk all the time which was quite a long wait. Staff amazing, room cleaned daily.

Room Tip: I would of loved the room with the affinity pool!
