My husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time on Sunday July 24th 2011 at 7pm. We were amazed how busy the restaurant was but a table for 2 was found for us. When we looked at the menu we realised why it was so popular. A 6 course menu served until 7-30pm.
We started off with chicken and mushroom soup followed by spring rolls, barbeque spare ribs, salt and pepper chicken wings.
A good selection of main courses to choose from with fried/boiled rice and ice creamto finish. The cost per head was £8-50 and the total bill for the 2 of us with lager and coffees as extras was £23-50.
The manager appologised for the slow service as it was so busy but we have often waited much longer for meals in other restaurants and we had no problem waiting a few minutes between courses.
All the food we had was well cooked and enjoyable.
The staff were pleasant and efficient and we will certainly be returning and making sure we get there before 7-30pm.
