“Peak District Paradise”
Reviewed 24 February 2016 for a stay in February 2016

This cottage is perfect in every way.It has been finished to a high standard but it has retained its characteristics for this location. The locals are very friendly and welcoming and would highly recommend the pub (cock and pullett). We found the cottage to be disabled friendly.Sheldon has great walks right from the doorstep and there is an ordinance survey map for you to use .You get your own parking space which is a bonus.Despite the weather the cottage was always warm and cosy .I would like to say a massive thankyou to Lindsey and Colin for their hospitality .Look forward to seeing you again .

“Fantastic Cosy Cottage”
Reviewed 21 February 2016 for a stay in January 2016

We have had a wonderful stay in Keepers Cottage. The cottage is immaculate, very well equipped and has all the home comforts you could possibly need (including homemade cake and lovely fresh eggs!). The location is wonderful, just a few miles from Bakewell, with fantastic walks and a lovely village pub right on the doorstep. We are already planning our return trip for later in the year!

We stayed over a weekend in February, wow what a beautiful place to stay ! In a beautiful part of the country, loved the cosiness of this smart well presented & immaculately clean cottage, fitted out to a very high standard, the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay & more !! The bed was very comfy . We got a very warm welcome from the really nice owners
A quaint place in a nice village.
Looking forward to going back again soon

“Perfect Peakland Retreat”
Reviewed 11 February 2016 for a stay in February 2016

We have stayed at the owners' other cottages, Townend and Miner's cottages at least a dozen times before (which speaks for itself) and were really keen to stay at their brand new cottage. Keeper's cottage did not disappoint - despite appalling weather, it was a delight to simply stay and relax in front of the wood burner - so warm and cosy. The cottage is very well equipped and everything has been finished to an extremely high standard. The extras of the yummy home made cake, free range eggs (from the hens roaming in in front of the cottage!), milk etc give a real personal touch. Can't wait for our next visit.

Perfect accommodation in a beautiful village which is a fantastic base for walking from the door or as a base to see the best of the Peak District. I would never want to stay anywhere else :-) T
