We did stay in Lahofer for one night.
The staff is very friendly. They have a private parking place.
The rooms have all modern comfort including airco and flatscreen TV.
The bathroom is small but nice and clean.
The restaurant is good.

I stayed there for few times and it is really very nice place. Staff is very friendly and they can reccomend you good wine. Restaurant offers very tasty food. It is simple but very good. Rooms were clean and comfortable. If I go again to Znojmo I will choose this hotel for sure.

Stayed here on a business trip twice now and have not been disappointed by either the hotel location, rooms or food.
The rooms are very modern, clean and comfortable, reasonably quite, except I could hear the breakfast being prepared in the kitchen in the early hours.
Location is in the old part of the town close to the castle, so for location scores well.
Food - Never had a bad meal, very well presented and cooked
Staff - Not much English spoken, except on reception staff, but this does not stop them being polite, attentive and helpful. Excellent
There is gate parking, free, a wine shop in the hotel as they produce their own wine also reasonably priced.
Slightly let down by no Wifi, but I can live without that for a day!
For a three star hotel, this place is excellent - Recommended

Room Tip: Any room is good, but views restricted due to location e,g, rooftops, sports court due to the centra...

Right in the old town. Very nice room,Clean, modern. Big screen TV Air conditioning and quiet.
Free internet connection in the room. Reasonably good breakfast and a very friendly staff. Gated parking. Owned by a winery so they have a little wine shop as well. I will stay there again. Great place to go back to after a hard day of business or a long day of site seeing.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet romm however they may all be quiet.

We stopped in Znojmo on a whim, saw this hotel, did quick scan and checked in. We expected standard Czech non-Prague hotel scenario. Not so. More boutique feeling with nicely designed rooms, good beds, doors on each bedroom so very quiet. Decent breakfast and parking included. No wifi in rooms and they should upgrade the toiletries.

The restaurant / wine list / wine shop was quite good. We had planned on leaving Fri evening after nibbles and a glass of wine, but it won us over and we stayed for dinner. I tend to avoid Czech wine but staff was very knowledgeable on local wines and helped us pick some nice ones with meal of local river fish. I was shocked at bill time to see the wines were only EUR 11-12/bottle in a restaurant. Had a surprisingly high level wine discussion in the shop/reception area next day when checking out and bought a mixed case. Very nice experience.

Arriving on a VERY hot day we were quickly checked in and shown our room by the friendly receptionist. Unfortunately the air conditioning was not working but we were quickly given another room. The decor is modern and comfortable. The beds are nice, good flat screen TV with CNN and GOOD A.C. which was a real blessing after bike rentals and spins through the national forest nearby. The hotel restaurant is decent though not brilliant. The steak was good and the pasta with roasted summer vegetables tasty enough though the addition of some parmessan cheese would have given it the kick it needed to become great. If you like sweet and semi sweet wines the wine list will appeal to you. I personally prefer dry wines so stuck to the beer on offer instead : Pilsner Urquel served on tap. Breakfast are good! Very nice strudel and rose wine on ice if you feel like a morning after tipple...
The reception wasn't terribly helpful when it came to suggesting other dining choices. In the main square we discovered U Zlate Konue and had some VERY nice Moravian style cordon blue ( they put a pickle between the excellent local ham and cheese) and a sweet and sour cabbage salad ( ordered by mistake) that was surprisingly good. Very good value! Budwar beer is served and I thought it was better than the Urquel served at the hotel. Another place we tried and went back to , ( new in town?) was La Casa Navarra about 5 minutes from the main square... Hidden in a small courtyard off the street it has a chic, modern and comfortable decor and a good menu with homemade Gnocci and pastas.. Argentine beef is also on offer.. Good salads , rich deserts and snappy service made it a pleasure...
If you are interested in wine there is an excellent wine shop a few steps up the street from the hotel. Vinoteka Jezuita..The owner doesn't speak English but his German is fluent if that helps.. Great selection of Moravian wines.. The local whites are especially tasty.. As we were driving, I picked up a couple of mixed cases to take home and after opening some bottles upon return wish i had bought more...There are some real bargains to be had there... the beer garden across the street from the wine store is also a great place for an afternoon beer.. The resident French bulldog is a real clown.. Znojmo is quiet and relaxing and a fun little town to explore for a couple of days.. Rent bikes ! The hotel has some good ones!
