It was the worst experience ever! First of all, the hotel is closed after 22:00 and we called in advance to arrange the key. Everything was promissed to be arranged. However, when we arrived at 23:30 there was no key at the promissed place and nobody of course at the hotel! We found ourselves at night without hotel.
Second, when we called in advance the hotel personell told us that it is possible to leave our ludgage on the day of departure, as usuall. However, on the day we were leaving the hotel owner not only forbided us to leave the ludgage for half a day but also was extremely rude! Basically, after my second sentance he told that I should stop talking and leave the building immediatelly without loosing his time. Of course, we have paid already and he did not need anything from us, so he could be rude. The first morning when he was asking for excuses because of not-left-key he was in contrast polite. Is not it disgusting?
The hotel was half-empty when we there and I understand now why.

Hallway, room and linen smell of smoke. Shared bathrooms are dirty and very small, so you can hardly keep your clothes dry. Rooms are very simple, a bit depressing. The mattress was quite dirty, there was no normal table in my room. I woke up at 7 every morning because then breakfast was prepared. It is not a buffet, but just a simple bagle. The reception closes at 5.30, which is not very friendly towards guests arriving late. Although it is a relatively cheap hotel, I would not recommend it. It seems more like an overpriced hostel and it is just no value for money. You can definitely find better hotels for this price.

A very bad experience. A near derelict building;
all windows in a decaying condition, many of them dificult to close and letting rain water come through.
Only one narrow and decaying window in the small area that the hotel calls bathroom but is no better that what one would find at a campsite: there are four cublicles for the two WC and two showers (for one whole floor!), only one of the cublicles with window.

No self-catering facilities (as claimed in the website) other than another cublicle called kitchen, with one old fridge, a saucepan and a smmall dirty stove, and nothing else.

The quality provided is worse than a hostel, but charged at a high price: that particular time, at the same price as the Ibis Hotel for a twin room.

There is a rotten and musty smell all over the premises.

There is no room/lounge for those wishing to relax or read a paper. Even the small breakfast room with the drinks machine is closed at 10pm.

The Euroglobe should only be sold as a basic and cheap hostel...and even so, certainly worse than many other european hostels charging half -or less, of the same amount and offering clean rooms with simple ensuite facilities and a proper lounge and coffe-making facilities.

we have booked a double room in Euroglobe Hotel at Copenhagen for a night.
This double room was in fact a single room with a supplementary bed : a campbed !
On the internet site where we booked the room, it was indicated that they accept credit card but in fact, they don't.
550DKK (78 Euro) for a single room with two beds, showers not very clean and a breakfast with the noise of the refrigerator like basic music... A bad experience !

Horrible experience! I just can't believe that there is someone who has guts to charge nearly US$ 100 (double room) for a place like that. The most shocking things:

* Bugs in my bed and later in my bag (had to leave my bags outdoors for a day when I got home in order not to bring disgusting bugs to my house!)
* Big bug bites for the next three-four days after my departure
* Rooms very run-down; many hostels look better
* Rather dirty and old
* No toilets even in double room (did you notice the price that we paid?)

I have been traveling extensively for 15 years now and I can't come up with another place that had such a terrible price/quality ratio.

This hotel was horrible. Worst of the ten 2 stars we stayed in during our trip. Would have been better off in a hostel. Smelled of curried urine. Horrible.

While not the height of luxury, it's an acceptable option for people who want a no-frills hotel at reasonable prices. There are only shared bathrooms and showers and the rooms are quite spartan but clean. The floors are a bit uneven and there are no elevators as well. We had a problem when we first arrived. Reception closes at 5:30 and if you arrive after they give you the code to get in and your room number. The room is left open. Well, when we arrived the room was locked!! They'd told us the wrong room number.
On the positive side, the breakfast is good and filling (bagel, coldmeats and jam) and the people working there are quite friendly. Walking distance from the city centre (another plus).
