We just moved into town and are trying the village restaurants. Isola Bella is close enough to walk to, so it was first on our list. We were pleasantly surprised when they offered delivery and carry out service. We have actually not eaten in the restaurant but have had delivery and carryout service numerous times.
I have to say, the pizza is the star of the show. Traditional thin crust with more then enough combinations to please anyone. We haven't had a single pizza we don't like. We tend to be traditionalists, Margarita and pepperoni our the two types we can always agree on. Both are excellent and large enough to split with a salad and bread order.
I have tried some of the baked pasta dishes as well as the pizza. They are not as good as the pizza and the ham and tortellini was a total disaster thanks to the oily sauce and gristly ham. I've also tried the spaghetti bologna and found the meat gristly and the pasta overcooked.
We stick with the pizza and salad and enjoy it every time. This is a regular on our rotation. The prices are fair, the pizza and salat is excellent, and to order carry out we've never waited longer than 20 minutes for our order to be ready. Service is always friendly and quick.
