We loved this small Tyrolean village and its Kinderhotel. The hotel is at the end of the village with direct access to the nearby forest. The panorama is breath taking, you can feel the hugging of the mountains on your skin, they are very close.
The hotel is not the best in the chain, but it is still good 4 stars. The room was good in size and clean, the kids had their bunk bed and we've been able to put the little one's cot too, so they could stay together. Our room was big enough for the family with a huge double king bed (a bit too soft mattress for my taste) and a big table with enough chairs to play at.
The restaurant was great, though the cook was a bit indulgent with the onion and the chive. The selection was generous from the adults to the babies. The only hotel where the all inclusive meant for alcoholic drinks too (beer and wines) and not from the lower shelf only!
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the owner of the hotel was walking around a few times a day to see everything is going well. The only issue was that they did not talk good english all the time, but at the same time we've been in their country, and with a good basic german you can survive easily.
The garden and the playground outside are good, with a lot of games, trolleys, ping-pong, bull's ride, wooden castle, a huge pirate boat, indian teepees, so it gives a big place for the role play games.
We recommend it.

Room Tip: We've been in the main building's first floor (room no 2xx) and that was great, calm and qui...

We visited this hotel in March 2013 and absolutely loved it. It is particularly nice for smaller kids (2-5 years), and has all the possibilities to do fun stuff together with your child or -if desired- to know your child in very good hands for a few hours in the kid's club, which was just fantastic! Our son is still enthusiastically talking about 'Bettina', one of the educators in the kids club. The food is tasty with a decent choice (3 menus to choose from for dinner, buffet at lunch) and it's possible to eat in a very relaxed atmosphere, where kids can really be kids. The kids club is just next to the restaurant, so kids can go and play when the adults may still enjoy their meal or a glass of wine :-). The kid's farm is as well very nice and kids can help feed the animals and ride on the very friendly & patient ponies. Finally, there is also good wellness area - it's not huge, but nicely done. The only potential downside for skiers is that it's a bit of a drive into the ski area and you know the area latest after your second day of skiing (which is not to say that it wouldn't be a nice area!)

The website of the hotel gives quite a fair view on rooms and ambience: you get what you pay for. Marble bathrooms and designer furniture are three times the price. However, what these pictures don't capture is the incredible hospitality and focus on kids, which makes this hotel a very pleasant and, hence, enjoyable place: kids club, kids zoo, playgrounds, pool, slides, very friendly and competent staff, excellently laid out rooms that give parents more than a minimum of privacy all add to making your stay there great. And, the fullboard food is excellent, the wine list good and decently priced.
