A farewell dinner, chilled wine on ice, a variety of hors d' oeuvres and lovely dessert to be shared all around, that's my memory of this pub-style restaurant where families can gather, choose from a menu that varies from traditional Dutch to delicious Indonesian and Thai cuisine. Share the plates and spend time relaxing while cheery and attentive waitresses make the evening feel even warmer.
We were easily seated, nine of us in all, where the adult pallets ranged from cocktails, wine and beer, to Dutch and Asian, heavy and light fare, and the restaurant was able to satisfy everyone's palate easily. Menus come in Dutch and English, and somehow the staff can intuit who is from where. A splendid night. If you are not a native, do watch the exchange rate. Euro to U.S. dollars was a huge surprise when I checked my credit card upon return. Better to pay cash. And even the smallest tip is greatly appreciated by the wait staff.
