Go Hotels Tacloban re-opened last May 2014, six months after Super Typhoon Haiyan ravaged Tacloban City. We booked a room here in time for the city's fiesta and Kasadyaan Festival last June 28. The room we got was good-sized, clean with strong hot shower available. Unfortunately, the windows cannot be opened to air the room. We had to keep open the door to get the room aired every morning. Get used to the mosquitoes. They are everywhere! Very few dining options since the Robinson's Mall has not opened most of the shops yet. Easy to get a ride going to the city proper.

Go Hotels Tacloban is no 5 star but it is new, it is clean and it is comfortable with a great location. Towels are new and clean, rooms are good sized for two, a bit of a squeeze for 3. Air conditioning is functioning and cold. The inner rooms have no windows to the outside. They look out to the common hallway but is heavily curtained for privacy. The hallway has windows from above to allow natural sunlight during the day. Plant boxes line the center of the hallway, with tables and chairs for breakfasts to go (no in-house restaurant) and work. Wi-fi is ok. The hotel is right beside the Robinsons mall for easy shopping and eating. A good deal for P1,450 a night for double occupancy. It is about 15 to 20 minutes to the airport. I'll recommend this anytime.

Room Tip: Single and double occupancy have the same cost even if the latter is more spacious. So I recommend...

The rooms are clean and bright. I like the interior designs despite having a commercial approach to its facade. Attached to the still closed Robinsons Mall, the Go Hotel is very relaxing after a day of tiring work.

There's wifi in the room, a pull-down table beside the bed and sockets for charging your phone.

Another thing is that there are plants and tables at the middle of the building. The cost is reasonable, room for two per night cost 1,500++. Fair enough.

Stayed 1 night in june and although the room was clean it was way too small. Lucky we had a room overlooking main street otherwise would have been uncomfortable. There is no restaurant or swimming pool.

Room Tip: Rooms facing main street give a little more openess.

We stayed here after attending a friend's wedding. Location is good, rooms are way better than I expected, space is small but okay for two people, bathrooms is clean. For a quick 1-night stay, you get value for your money.

Centrally located in the heart of tacloban business district, beside Robinsons mall, where you can get food and other much needed supplies. bed are comfortable, T&B are small but clean. Rooms are small but has everthing you need to get by the night, to work and rest. Easy to find and big parking area.

Room Tip: they are normally full, reserve early, rooms are all alike

I stayed at Go Hotels with friends (Actually crashed their room) during Pintados-Kasadyaan Festival last june 2013. The staff are friendly and was helpful enough during our stay. The rooms were small but decent enough as a roof above your head in a little city. Its clean and over all nice.

Best for backpackers! The price is just right for backpackers!

PS: I loved the elevator. Very high tech, you dont even have to touch the buttons! Sorry but I just had to add this, little things like this makes me happy!
