I usually don't write reviews because I always forget.. lol. but this time I had to. I cann't talk about their food because I didn't have a chance to try it. First of all, the waiter was rushing my family to order but everytime we ordered a dish he would say they were out of it.. I began to get upset because I didn't understand why the waiter was so rude. I got up to the bathroom and while I was walking back to my table, I overheard the Manager- who was from European decent- pointing to my family and saying to the waiter, "I don't want black people in my restaurant and you need to get rid of them." I really felt bad and I was in shocked. Im dominican but I live in the USA and I have never experience that kind of discrimination.- it caught me of guard- I told my family that wanted to leave without telling them what I just heard, they agree and later that day I told them. They wanted to report to the Samana authorities but it was too late we were already on the way to Santo Domingo.. This incident made me realize that their are still a lot of hate in people's heart and that I wish like Martin luther king, Jr. said, "that one day people will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."
