Stayed here with my wife for three nights on a self-catering basis.
Our room was on the top floor with a fine view out to sea. It had an oudoor balcony and private rooftop solarium - which is accessed via a rather tortuous spiral staircase.
The spacious rooms were well lit and the bed comfortable. All the area was generally clean, but the shower curtain was noticeably old and stained and barely fit for purpose. The rooms, although clean and quite presentable, seem to be getting towards their refurb date.
All the amenities provided worked well, with exception of the dishwasher which was next to useless. in fact it was useless.
This was pleasant room overall with a stunning view and car parking was easy. The lift was right outside our room, but we never heard it at all.
The staff on reception were courteous and helpful and showed genuine concern when I mentioned the dishwasher as we checked out.
The Oaks is situated within walking distance of Mooloolaba and has a number of restaurants and shops within a couple of hundred metres. Would stay here again.

Room Tip: Can only speak for ours on the 6th floor looking out to sea. Very good room.

We actually bought an online deal to stay in Caloundra but due to refurbishing we were offered an upgraded room at the Oaks Seaforth Resort. We did not get the wine or choccies or free kids meal as per original deal but we accepted the upgrade to a family apartment would suffice. When we first walked into our room we did notice the little things like stains on the carpet, some old and worn furnishings etc. Once settled in we had plenty of room for 2 adults and one child and a balcony looking over the river and a view of the beach. The pools and gardens were beautiful and it really gave you the feel of a tropical resort. We did not expect a 5 star resort and we were ok with the quality of the room for the 3 days we stayed there. The location was ok in between Maroochydore and Mooloolaba but If I visit again I will stay in Mooloolaba.

Great location accross the road from the beach and many shops and restaurants a short stroll away. A lagoon pool, large lap pool, spa, gymnasium, undercover security parking, large rooms (ours had a particularly large balcony) - this place has it all.

Room Tip: We stayed in a very large two bedroom apartment - 309 which had ocean views and was perfect.

My husband and I just returned from 3 nights at Oaks Seaforth Resort, Alexandra Headland. Booked a sea-facing Studio Apartment but were 'upgraded' (??) to a family unit where second bedroom & bathroom were locked off (Unit 442). While apartment had all amenities we required with great balcony, cleaning is obviously not a priority. The units are self-catering (i.e. not serviced); the oven, which we did not use, was filthy. I brought this, and the fact that the whole unit appeared to be poorly cleaned, to the attention of reception and was told they would have their housekeeping manager check with the cleaners! Landscaping and grounds maintenance terrific; great pool complex - pool, wading pool, heated spa and lagoon pool, but would be improved with more loungers (only about 10 there). Internal furnishings tired - carpet needs replacing, I swear I felt the inner-springs in the bed, settee has had its day. A great location and convenient to restaurants, beach, etc.

Room Tip: Rooms toward back of property, which comprises 6 apartment blocks, get less noise from those closer...

Thank you for sharing your experience at Oaks Seaforth resort. I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed the facilities and the gardens. I am sorry that the overall standard and cleanliness of the apartment did not meet your expectations. The Resort is finalising preparations for a full make over in our rooms. This will see all furniture replaced new drapes, carpets etc. The new furniture we have had designed especially for this resort by interior designers. I do hope that you will come and stay with us again next time you are on the Sunshine Coast.

We have just returned from our 7 night stay at Seaforth, we had a wonderful time the children really enjoyed there stay. The staff were helpful when assistance required, perfect location for early morning walks along the beach. The burger bar in the front of the complex serves the best burgers ever. The bakery serves great coffee. We found all the local shops great.
It was easy to get places in a car as we did not know the area.
Thanks for our wonderful family holiday.

Booked and paid extra $37 per night for a one bedroom family ocean view room 6 weeks ago., because we particularly wanted an ocean view. Arrived just after reception closed so couldn't see anyone then. Our ocean view turned out to be views of other peoples lounge rooms, no ocean view what so ever. Spoke the people at the reception the next morning who said "you have to book a one bedroom family ocean" which I explained we did and showed her the invoice. Never did we get a sorry or the offer of anything to make us feel better about our stay. I had to ask for a refund which when we were checking out they told us they could refund us $20 per night, on complaint they up it to $25 per night. What sort of sorry is that, I and my friends that have been there previously will never go back. Rooms were nice but didn't enjoy looking across at other peoples loungerooms and cluttered balconies.

Room Tip: Don't expect to get what you book and pay for.
