Their website gives a very accurate impression of what to expect; rustic, peaceful, calm above Sirince, near to Ephesus. We stayed two nights in Room 4, small but with fantastic views. Food was excellent, staff very friendly and with a lovely small pool. Sure it is expensive by local standards, but worth every penny. We stayed as a base for visiting Ephesus which worked very well.

Room Tip: Look on their website.

My family recently stayed a week at the Nisanyan Hotel in Sirince and we found the hotel to be delightful, eccentric, sometimes maddening but overall a wonderful experience. This hotel is the brainchild and reflection of its owner, Sevan Nisanyan, who is himself quirky, brilliant, and interesting. It is a compilation of old houses he restored, a new main house/inn which appears to be a 19th century mansion, and several bungalows. The hotel is on the top of a mountain, peering out over the lovely hillside town Sirince and the valley below. The Nisanyan has wandering pathways, a beautiful flower and herb garden, a charming swimming pool with an inlaid black and white marble bottom, looking as though it is left from the Roman era.
As wonderful as this was it would have been helpful if they had included drawers, an armoire, or even a luggage rack in our room. The staff who waited on us spoke little more than Turkish, which is not very logical when the majority of the guests are from other countries. The kitchen serves delicious dinners but you can't reserve a table ahead of time, you must order your food in the front hall of the hotel and wait 1-1.5 hours until it's ready. None of this makes sense but in the end we came away with a memory of a beautiful place set apart from the real world.

Room Tip: The only rooms which have air conditioning are in the main inn. We almost never needed it but were g...

We stayed here for two nights to use as a base for visiting Efes. A unique place made so much nicer by the welcoming, friendly staff. We stayed in the main inn and were delighted with our room with views over the hilltop village. The evening meals and breakfasts were excellent and you really should try the homemade cherry and walnut liqueurs (free). Lovely views from the pool (which we usually had to ourselves). One tip, as the car park is a short walk from the main building and the various cottages, if you are staying for only a few nights would be a sensible idea to pack a separate holdall. It was a bit of an effort carrying two heavy suitcases on the cobbles. And ladies forget your heels too!!!
If ever in the area again would certainly come back and stay.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 4 which admittedly is a very small double room but was ok for a couple of nights a...

This inn and surrounding cottages is a wonderful place to stay when you are visiting Ephesus and Izmir. We stayed in the inn and had a spectacular view to the village below. We climbed up into the tower for an even better view. We walked the ancient stone path to town for shopping and lunch. We swam in the white marble swimming pool among beautiful summer flowers. Had a drink on the terrace and ate a succulent lamb dinner prepared by a the inn's magnificent chef. Our room #1, was out of a storybook. Antique canopy bed, original art,Turkish rugs, candles, huge windows, and a sun filled bathroom with a shower and stand alone tub to soak in. The hosts were so kind and friendly. If you want to experience Turkey as it once was, look no further than Nisayan House.

Room Tip: Room #1 in the inn is sunny, airy, large and absolutely charming.

I spent two nights at this unique boutique hotel and really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Located at the top of a hillside in Sirince, the view of the Turkish country side is breathtaking. The town of Sirince is a quick walk down the hill and provided a nice break after the crowds of Istanbul. The food at the hotel is prepared fresh from the various animals they keep on site (we ran into everything from donkeys, goats and chickens to ducks and peacocks) and you can taste the difference when eating at their restaurant. The staff was also extremely gracious and accommodating and made sure that we enjoyed our stay.

More like a small village, this boutique hotel is both unusual and exceptional. Set on the hillside overlooking the village and beautiful valley below, the location is perfect. Delicious food, excellent service, a quite wonderful pool and comfortable rooms make this an excellent destination. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: The rooms beyond the pool ensure that you get the maximum benefit of the valley views

We had a wonderful time at the Nisanyan Evieri Hotel. It is a wonderful place to stay if you are visiting Ephesus because it is quiet and removed from the crowds of the ruins.

The food is quite good and the help most accommodating. We had to leave quite early and the luggage was carried for us and a breakfast was ready. Don't miss the beautiful swimming pool at the top of the hill and be sure to walk down to the village for dinner and shopping

The rooms in the main lodge are quite unique and fun. The shower in the room we stayed in was a challenge but also part of an adventurous stay.

Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Get one of the rooms on the front side of the main lodge or get one of the rooms in the cabins up th...
