We've been coming to Turkey for the last 10 years and the food is one of the reasons. This pretty little patio restaurant serves without a doubt some of the best food we've ever had on this country. The Manti and Köfte especially. If you visit Ephesus, make the extra 20 minute journey to Sirince and eat here. It's worth it and the ladies who run the restaurant are charming hosts.

Another great recommendation by TA. We were visiting Sirince on a private tour after visiting Ephesus. The tour guide said she had not been here but was willing to try it with us which was helpful because, as mentioned in other reviews, the owners do not speak English. We tried a couple appetizers and then each had the manti for a main course. The manti was outstanding! the stuffed green pepper appetizer was just OK, and the meatballs were quite good. We were also given glasses of the owners home made elderflower "lemonade" which was fantastic an very refreshing. After the meal we all had Turkish coffee. Prices were very reasonable and the owner was very friendly and attentive. We were able to talk to the owner a bit via our guide and found out that a while back an American couple stumbled upon her place and wrote a TA review. She said shortly after that the number of people coming to her place increased dramatically and she was not sure why until others explained to her about TA and her positive reviews here. She was very thankful being able to share her food and culture with visitors to her country. Would definitely recommend!

Mr brother and I (ages 24 and 25) took a day trip from Istanbul to Sirince/Seljuk (Selcuk in Turkish) and decided to go off the beaten path a little. (This restaurant is a scenic and 15-20 cab ride). We happened on this place and were surprised to find out it was a home and a restaurant. We talked with locals who ate there who assured us that this was excellent Turkish food. We went with their suggestion and found that they were telling the truth. The owners showed us around the house and were very friendly. Throughout the whole trip the Turks were very friendly and eager to help us out.
