“Cozy and comfortable!”
Reviewed 13 January 2018 for a stay in January 2018

Pam was a joy to deal with from beginning to end. We had email issues in the beginning, but figured things out and everything else went smoothly! We had a bit of trouble with the door when we got there, but she answered my text immediately and we figured things out!
20 minutes from the airport! We were hot because we had done groceries, brought our stuff up, put things away, etc. The AC is a small unit in the living room so we were very concerned about the heat. However, relax, open all windows, turn the fans on and the breeze will cool things off. We had the AC going for the first few hours and never needed it again. It cools down nicely, even needing a sweater in the evening!
The condo was well equipped with everything we needed. We only had breakfasts, but there are a few bar-b-q's by the pool. We didn't take advantage of the pool (too much to do!!), but it looked nice and clean! It was just my husband and I, but two couples would not find it tight - it is cozy!
From the lanai, we saw turtles and a whale!! If you own a pair of binoculars, bring it. If not, consider buying some!! The waves crashing into shore will sooth you and lull you to sleep. I miss it... My husband did some snorkeling and spent a good hour and a half with turtles: from Caribbean-smaller-size to Crush size (Finding Nemo! - it was huge!!) When you are looking at the ocean, walk to your left for about a 1/4 mile. You can see the reef from the beach. That is the nesting place for the turtles. At times it can get murky, but that's the ocean for you!
The condo is a 15 minute, leisurely walk to the Harbor where you will find tours (Pacific Whale watching tour is recommended), restaurants and shopping! Or just a great walk! We had dinner at Beach Bum's Bar and Grill (recommend! - get the ribs!) and Seaside (not so much!) We also picked up some food at Carl's Juniors one night!!
I do recommend a car to explore the island: Paia was cool, and Lahaina of course! If you have an hour to spare (waiting in line - not kidding), rent from Advantage/EZ rent a car to save a few bucks. If it doesn't interest you, go with the better known companies.
If ever I have the chance to visit Maui again, I will definitely contact Pam again!
