After seeing how Blackpool's sea front had altered I was in for a surprise when I came across Cleveleys sea front. Like Blackpool's wide promenade, Cleveleys was also wide and spacious, and with some interesting if unusual sculptures protruding from the promenade itself. If you like a walk along the coast, I recommend the sea wall walk from Blackpool to Cleveleys of around 4 miles or so, depending from where you set off. If you don't a fancy the hike back, there are always the buses or trams which are about a 10 minute walk from the sea front.
