The hotel is housed in an old charming, centrally located, house. Rooms are individually decorated and rather small but still holds two armchairs. The beds are comfortable, there is a TV in the room but no shelves in the bathroom to put a toiletry bag on. The breakfast buffet is good, there is free wifi and the staff is friendly and accommodating.

Instead of making my breakast at home I choosed Grand Hotel in Lysekil.
For 95 Swedish Crowns at had nice breakfast, with the usual in the buffet.
The most impression on me was the salon, not the standard furniture - somthing unusal.

We paid 1500 sek for a hotel that dont have reception alotof time and were the standard of the rooms were not good is amasing. lysekil is anice place close the sea but not much happens there except during tze peak holiday period in july. We stayed in very nice hotel in the Centre of Gothenburg and paid half the price. The hotel has a pub and nightclub in basement and there is alot noice. No elevator make hard for older people to use this hotel. Breafast ok. No aircondition and rooms on the top floors are very hot in the summer.

We stayed at this hotel July 3, 2013. You find the hotel in the middle of the town. It is an old hotel, fairly big. The unusual thing about it is that the building is made out of wood. And it is of course a special experience to stay in such an old wooden building .

However, the rooms are small, bathrooms even smaller because they clearly have been added long after the hotel was constructed.

Breakfast is included, but nothing to boast of. The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but there are several restaurants nearby so it is not a problem.

Would we stay there again? I guess not - too expensive for what it offers.

We were there for just one night, but yet got a good impression of the hotel.

The receptionist was warm and positive upon arrival, helped us with questions on Lysekil and the rooms were also pretty good. It is situated right in the center of Lysekil with easy walks to most things.
We tried the bar they had and it was pretty cosy - yet they closed at 21:30 for the drinks - and thats to soon during the summer and since there were around 12-13 guests still there.
