We enjoyed our stay at Renata's place a lot. It's 10-15 mins from Tolmin's center by car up the mountain and you can enjoy a great view over the valley! Renata and her nice family made us feel very welcome and at home :)
We would definitely recommend this place to all nature lovers!
Thanks again for the honey, Renata, and all the best to you.
Staying for a week at Renata and Ivan's place, we had an amazing time.
That clean and comfortable apartment is located inside Triglav national park, giving a wonderful opportunity to enjoy its natural beauty and peace.
Renata and Ivan were super kind and welcoming, and let us feel like at home.
We have spent a very nice week in this beautiful place, next to the farm of Mr and Mrs Rutar, 3 km in the mountains upper Tolmin. The appartments are very comfortable and clean. Mr and Mrs Rutar welcomed us very kindly in this calm and relaxing place. The view on Soca valley and mountains is really beautiful. Mrs Rutar speaks english fluently and will give you relevant and precious pieces of advice about places to visit and various activities you can enjoy around Tolmin and in Triglav national park...and if you wish, ask Mr Rutar to show you his beehives.

Decent and comfortable apartment in a beautiful place. Renata, the owner, was very gracious and helpful. She even did a load of laundry for us. We were there to hike, and there is some great hiking nearby--especially up to Koča na planini Razor, beyond the top of the Tolmin Ravine. (don't miss it.) This is a good place to stay if you like to get away from the town and tuck yourself into a remote place. It means you have to drive a little way (mabye 3km) to get into Tolmin for groceries or a pizza. You also have to drive some distance to reach trail heads for the higher peaks. (I think it was about 1.5 hours to the Vrsic Pass.) So hikers should plan to get up early. This spot was a nice perch for getting to know the Soca River valley and some of the region's history. History buffs: don't miss the Museum of the Isonso Front in Kobarid!
